OlderAlexis Bledel: Houston, We Have a Solution!
Alexis Bledel poses with her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 co-stars Blake Lively, America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn at the MTV Times Square Studios during MTV’s Total Request Live in New York City on Monday.
Ms. Bledel, who turns 27 next month, is originally from Houston, and was raised by her Mexican mother Nanette and Argentine father, Martin.
With Spanish as her first language, she is hoping to land a role which can highlight her background. “I think it’s a little tricky because in the States, when they want a Latin actress, they want someone who looks sort of stereotypically Latin,” she says. “But I think I can get away with playing a Spanish or Argentine character. I really hope I get to do that someday.”

Alexis looks rather young for her age, which may have been why Millo Ventimiglia dated her…then he found out she wasn’t as young as he first thought or hoped, so he broke up with her and started dating then 17-y-old Hayden Pantylair.
Alexis looks like a brunnette Sarah Paxton. She’s average looking…the 5 head. America Ferrera is the most beautiful. Blake is more “sexy,” but not pretty, muchless beautiful.

However, Alexis is gorgeous, and while beauty is subjective in each person’s eyes, I think the majority would agree that Alexis has more than just an average looking face. And technically, Sarah Paxton looks like Alexis, considering the latter was born first. Just saying …

Alexis has a great body & height but w/ a 16-18-year-old’s face. Which is actually pretty good if you ask me. Just imagine her being in her 40’s but she’ll end up looking like someone in her 20’s. I’d say great genes huh - Jealous!
I absolutely adore her as well! She always looks so naturally great. I am glad she is out more but definitely NO media hog in the making and just like to it on the down low side.

Alexis can surely get away with portraying an Argentinian girl. That’s where I’m from and lots of girls have features like hers in Argentina. The thing is, very few people look really “latino” over there, since most of the population is of European descent. Spain is different. Not a lot of natural blondes here, most people have darker skin and darker hair.
Anyway, I think she’s lovely and I hope her Spanish has an Argentinian accent.. that would be so cute!

actually, she does look like a typical latina. I am purely dominican and cuban, but i have very light features and am often mistaken for being caucasian. What she doesn’t look like is the media’s typical portrayal of a latina….
