Not only are the Afflecks media wh*res, they’re hypocrites, too. They talk about conserving the environment and then buy a home that will consume FAR more resources than they could possibly need, even with a new baby! Just goes to show, all these charitable causes are nothing more than publicity opportunities for them.

Although I question buying such a big house, I don’t know how it shows that “all these charitable causes are nothing more than publicity opportunities for them.” - it’s not like energy conservation has been their main cause and retrofitting an existing house to be more energy efficient is often better in terms of materials used, waste, etc., than building a new one with the latest green technology. There was a recent story that they’re remodeling the house - we don’t know what that includes - it may include energy improvements (e.g., solar panels, etc.) to take the house at least partially off the grid.
Geez, Jessica…why don’t you try being yourself instead of following in Carrie’s footsteps? She’s got the better legs anyway…

Right on Tricia!!!! Probably the Real Estate Agent or their agent released the details for a small ” fee “. Why would the Afflecks take their precious time to talk or to hunt down the paparazzi’s and explain in detail what their mansion in the sky had in it, from the bathrooms to the media room and poolhouse. How cheesy would that be, plus it is NOT their style. The Afflecks are a little more classy than that. It’s other people who get a kick out of it for a nice PAID FEE in their bank account.
