In my younger days (so to speak), I was busy involving myself in many kinds of activities, and one of them was fighting for freedom from fear, freedom of speech. As far as I concerned, I did not see it in that country. That’s why I refuse to see it.
I see! It was a very good and colorful show. I wonder what Britain will come up with to rival that. There’s a rumor that at the closing ceremony, when the next host gives a little show, David Beckham will kick soccer balls from the top of a London bus. Maybe the Beefeaters and the Scottish in kilts will be involved too.

About Jen. I prefer if she was out from Spotlight. She needs her peace. Every moves she makes, it is always understood differently.
It looks like her publicist is determined that she stays in the news. Well, it’s his job, but if she didn’t like it, she can veto it. I think that her link to BP helps keep her in the news. Tabloids keep referring to that.

You don’t know that she won an award for directing a short film, I suppose. Yes, My Silly Girl won an award as the best director together with Andrea Buchanan in Room 10 in 2006. It is a short film, but it is a film. I wish she would do more in that direction.

And different from the others from Friends, she was nominated in several different character than Rachel. In Good Girl, for example. She was also very good in The Rock Star. Or in the Object of My Affection.
I haven’t seen those movies. I have seen TBU on TV.

She was very present there. Goodness, how I miss her, the old Jennifer Aniston before her marriage.

I told a British friend of mine that I feel kinda sorry for them in 2012. He said, I feel sorry for us right now. He said that Team GB has not exactly got off to a great start, and he has an uneasy feeling their final score is going to be mortifying.

I tell you we should all be mad at Brad for giving this woman a name when her 15 minutes should have ended with “Friends”. She is not talented and all this crap about comedic timing, what timing she was not funny on Friends. Lisa Kudrow, David S., Matt Leblanc, and Matthew Perry carried the show more to me and all have way better comedic talent than over sold Jennifer Aniston. Jennifer only became the “it” Friend because of shirts that displayed her nipples constantly on the show (which she apparently still owns the silicone nipples as seen in recent photos), one stupid haircut and more known by association to Brad Pitt. She must pay her publicist well.

SC looks impressive in a kilt! Ewan and Gerry would too but I guess they’ll all be busy with other things, so if there are men in kilts ( :lol: ) they will be unknowns. As long as they’re about the same height.

To all of you who go on and on about her age: SHE’S 39, YOU ********!! LET HER BE 39…SHE HAS LIVED THE YEARS AND SHE SHOLD ENJOY THEM. Some people don’t make it past 25 or 30 or 10. I have attained 45 years and am proud of it. I look good and feel great. A woman is in her prime of life in all ways when she is in her forties. So get over yourselves you immature dolts! Jennifer is living her life. YOU SHOULD GET A LIFE AND LIVE IT TOO!!

Change can mean a lot of things. Look, Jen changed her direction in her career also. Not only as an actress, but she tried as a director, and she could do it.

We only see and pay attention so much for Jen after the divorce, especially what was written on the tabs. But her activity as actress/artist was not recorded well, or people simply don’t want to read it. After the interview in VF (I don’t think it was good for her to say things like that, but that was then), she never really gave interviews. All what we read was what her friends or the source said. I am glad that she has friends, and not alone in this situation. One friend will already makes one feel rich!

I am not sure if you pay attention to Jen’s career before she got married, or even before she got divorced. If you did, you would see that somebody who got Razzi Award in the beginning of her career and then change into somebody who even nominated in Independent Spirit Award, and then even received an award as the best director, it is something!

And if you talk about social charity, not everybody does charity. Look all the great actors/stars/directors, you will find out that there are many that are busy in many things but charity. Clint Eastwood, I will take for an example. He is a great director, no doubt about it, but he is also a member of Weapon’s lobby organization. Opposite from Charity, he supports an organization that supply means to kill.

I always see Angelina and Jennifer as two different persons. They don’t have to do the same things. And if, they do the same things, it is because they want it, but not because they copy each other. The only thing that bound them is a man, and this man I tend to ignore.

Anyway, talking about age, Pitt was also a different Pitt years ago. And he was busy with all charity thing since he is with Angelina, it means what? 3 years ago. And he was 42 years old. He could change even when he was older than Jennifer.

So can Jennifer. So can Angelina. So can we.

I am so sick of the loonies! Look at Forbes she makes $27 mil, AJ makes $14 mil. At least Jen makes her own money and doesn’t use her kids to make her money. There is nothing wrong with putting your career first, at least she has the sense to not have children til she can be absolutley dedicated to raising them, she has a good example in Courtney. She is a woman to admire. And I seriously doubt she cares about competing for the spotlight with the JP’s that was almost 4 years ago!!! Move on Loons!
