Jessica Simpson Ignites Indiana
Jessica Simpson performs at the 2008 Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday.
The 28-year-old singer sang several songs from her latest album, and also covered Dusty Springfield’s “Son of a Preacher Man” and John Michael Montgomery’s “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident).”
Jessica’s dad, Joe Simpson, was escorted by seven state troopers when he walked through the members of the audience.

The difference is, Jennifer is in great body shape, so her wearing those outfits look good. Jessica is fat and should dress more for her body type.
In the Enquirer (so take that for what it’s worth) it said that she thought she was pregnant so she and Tony told his family and they flipped! I doubt that’s true but it sounds kinda funny.

Yes, her shirt is a size too small, but Jessica has been dressing like this since before her reality show days. This IS Jessica — a country bumpkin with no brains!!
As for her singing at county fairs — what do you mean her career has fallen??? When was she selling out arenas? Before the reality show with Nick, she was a small-time gospel and country singer. The country thing is not just to try a new genre — the POP stuff was out of her element!! This girl CAN sing, but she has no intelligence or taste, and that’s what is the turnoff. Nothing to back it up.
I am stunned and so embarrassed for her and her sad never ending journey to seek attention, at any cost of humiliation. Some people have no shame and cannot be happy without being in the spotlight. Jessica - take your money and go live your life in obscurity.

Only 4000 people came to her concert. Many of those came for free because they were doing a “buy one get one free” campaign with her concert and the tickets were reduced to start with. On the other hand, the next night Carrie Underwood sold 12,000 tickets for a much higher price than Jessica’s. There’s writing on the wall and it doesn’t look good for Jessica. Sadly, I don’t know if she can read it.
She sounds great! She looks great and for once she who she is! You need to hear “When I love you like that” then you will understand. She is very talented, I am so glad that she is not giving up on herself. Her song is #18 on the Billboard, #19 on mediabase. #1 Country video, #2 on CMT, People this girl is very talented. She has a great voice. People have been listening to her not knowing it was her. Listen to Disneys “Part of your World” there is a video out too.

Carrie Underwood is now an established country artists. If she didn’t pull in more of a crowd than Jessica Simpson at this stage that would be a big problem.
Jessica has done really well to get even a couple thousand given that she is not established, has not even released her first country album and any one going to her concert is taking a leap of faith since no one has heard her new material.
Be fair. When ppl hear her stuff , over time she’ll gather new fans in country music.
