Maggie Gyllenhaal is Pretty for Piaget
Maggie Gyllenhaal and Leighton Meester (in Nina Ricci) attend the Piaget Hosts The Limelight Paris-New York Collection event at The Loft and Garden at Rockefeller Center on Thursday in New York City.
Leighton, 22, has been filming for the upcoming season of Gossip Girl, most recently in Chinatown.
Coming off The Dark Knight blockbuster, Maggie, 30, can be seen later this year in Farlanders, opposite John Krasinksi (The Office).
Emmy Rossum, Liv Tyler, and Mena Suvari were also on hand for the event.

I do, however, LOVE her dress and jewelry. She usually doesn’t do anything for me, but she looks really good here and the dress plays up all her best features, making her look very slim yet shapely. It even makes her legs look better! She wore a similarly cut dress to the Killer Movie premiere. The cut looks good on her. She should make a habit of wearing it.
I do have to make a comment on her choice of shoe though. Maybe she does this on purpose, but she always seems to pick the wrong shoe for every outfit. What is up with that? I’ve very rarely seen her in a shoe that compliments the dress she’s wearing… I don’t understand it.
Anyway, she looks good and has come back from that TCA disaster. I concede a second time… but only for now. She has to show me more before I believe she’s worth the hype.

Maggie always looks tired. It is her eyes and the way they are slanted downwards. Leighton looks awesome though. She has beautiful looking skin, and that is a great picture of her.

Maybe Leighton thinks that facial expression is sexy. I’ve seen Megan Fox do that look and it works for her. I personally think Leighton’s very pretty but only in a kind of cute, darling way and she has a pretty smile.

What hype? To me this girl is actually very underrated- it’s Blake Lively that is hyped, getting on 5 magazine covers within the past 2 months, all blogs and media telling us the is the next big thing, and scooping the pool at the TCAs.
Leighton, apart from candid and event pictures posted on blogs such as JJ, has hardly recieved any degree of huge media attention. Hence- i can’t see that she is hyped at all.

Leighton is indeed being hyped as young hollywood’s resident fashionista by fashion blogs, magazines, the Gossip Girl producers, amd most importanly, her. If you’re into fashion you can’t get away from the girl and I am still slightly unconvinced as she’s had just as many misses as hits.
Considering I am not a fan of Gossip Girl, I could care less about Blake Lively being the next big thing or Leighton Meester being underated on the show. I was talking about her fanshion hype. I should have been clear.
Did Maggie G break it off with her babby daddy? They are never together anymore. I just saw Peter at some premiere in NYC alone and she was not off doing Batman work. He seemed subdued to say the least.

Wow…To all the people who keep making the comments about any of those girls looking ugly, you are extremely shallow, rude, and maybe even snobby. Why the heck are even bringing up their talent, anyways? That has nothing to do with the event…Personally, I think all the ladies look lovely, and sure, maybe their make-up is not the best, but that doesn’t make them ugly, by any means. No one is perfect. Sheesh…I understand that people have different opinions, and it’s ok to share them, but if you’re going to be a stuck-up jerk and start ratting on people for the way look, which is something they can’t help by the way, then you seriously need to rethink your thoughts and choose your words carefully.

i love the dark knight, but i can barely watch it because maggie gyllenhaal is in it. she doesn’t fit. when she kisses christian bale it looks like james bond made out with a pugg dog. it doesn’t make sense ’cause he hangs out with beautiful girls all the time. i don’t know why other guys in the movie thought she was beautiful either, there are plenty of beautiful girls and she sure as hell doesn’t even come into half-way attractive.
