Bernie Mac Dies at 50
Comedian Bernie Mac died of pneumonia at age 50 early Saturday morning.
His rep released this statement: “Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago-area hospital. No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family’s privacy continues to be respected.”
Mac, who was nominated for Emmys in 2002 and 2003 for The Bernie Mac Show, was admitted to Northwestern Memorial hospital for pneumonia on August 1 and was expected to make a full recovery.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bernie, his family and friends.
RIP.

Hey #1: The fact that Bernie Mac was able to rise up above the tough poverty stricken gang ridden South Side of Chicago and accomplish so much is a testament to his TALENT. Get out of your little White Suburban pathetic life and GROW UP!

This is sad and such a shock..Bernie Mac was the ****! He will be missed greatly. And to those who dont think he was in anything good then you didnt know the Macman.. The Bernie Mac show was a great family show, funny. The Kings of Comedy is a classic. Players Club Classic. Oceans 13 was good, etc.
