Bernie Mac Dies at 50
Comedian Bernie Mac died of pneumonia at age 50 early Saturday morning.
His rep released this statement: “Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago-area hospital. No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family’s privacy continues to be respected.”
Mac, who was nominated for Emmys in 2002 and 2003 for The Bernie Mac Show, was admitted to Northwestern Memorial hospital for pneumonia on August 1 and was expected to make a full recovery.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bernie, his family and friends.

I feel horrible. When I heard he had pneumonia I didnt think twice. I thought oh, pneumonia, Not that serious, I never hear of anybody dieing of that too often these days. Now look!

I was shocked when I heard this. He was such a talented actor and comedian.

oh my God! I’m shocked. I can’t believe he is gone. I love his show and he was the funniest guy in the Oceans movies. This broke my heart :(

i will miss bernie mac i never saw any of his shows al though i did see transformers but i didnt se oceans eleven twelve or thirteen that was extremly sad and my pecae and hapinnes may be brought upon his family fans

RIP. Though, I must say, I never really followed his career. I avoided Guess Who, which looked terrible.
