I said so because I am black, and it’s very shocking for me to see people I admire die one after each other (But I was also referring to Morgan accident).
Of sure, I know that dead have nothing to do with the race, but the fact is that these two people were blacks, and too much young in order to die, and they were black stars.
Sorry if that hurt you, and when 2 or 3 white stars died one after each other, I will allow you to say: “what is happening to our white stars”.

Another day and more shocking news. I can’t believe it. RIP Isaac Hayes. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I feel you! I know what you mean, I find it odd somebody felt the need make a challenge to what you said…. Barry, Luther, Isaac even Rick James, we have lost a whole group of soulful black singers. Bernie’s gone, Richard before him all too young. These are the men our parents had playing in our houses growing up. Well Rick wasn’t, made my Mom nervous! But this is our youth, at least mine…

I love how people make random race-based comments and when called on it they ALWAYS claim they are black. You are probably not. That said, even if you were, that does not pardon the unnecessary comment. It is a moment of death for an accomplished man who has fought to be more than what America offered him as a Black man. Afford him, in his moment of death to honor his passing without your silly remark.

And just because two men die within one week of each other: Bernie and Isaac - then that is a commentary on the desolate state of losses in black stars? WHAT?!!!

You have to understand that that same thinking: that Morgan, Isaac and Bernie’s loss can be a way to recognize that black stars are too young to die - that this thinking lends itself to other racist assessments: for example, if three black guys in a week do something bad then all of a sudden do we deduct that that is a commentary on the sad state of black people? OR does it just HAPPEN to be three black men who HAPPEN to do something bad???

Get a grip. Your ignorance is plain and clear. Even in a moment like this.

This says all I need to know about you! He was found by his treadmill, he was a Scientology’s, no drugs, Bernie had pneumonia. The original comment was non challenging , you took to another level! Then you post this! What did they do bad? One had a life threatening disease, the other we don’t know, yet. But it was obvious he was working out! First Bernie now Isaac.
Im not sure if people realize how versatile Isaac Hayes was.
A musical genius but also as a comedic and dramatic actor.
From sinister bad guys to a funny song singing chef.
He contributed to countless soundtracks for films and television

One of my mothers favorites, I grew up listing to his songs. I am very sad today/ this weekend. first B Mac, now Isaac Hayes. I can only say, Rest in Peace. We will never forget you!
