Isaac Hayes Dead at 65
Grammy and Oscar-winning musician Isaac Hayes died in Memphis, Tenn., at age 65 on Sunday afternoon, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said.
His wife, who found him unresponsive on the floor near a treadmill, immediately called police to the scene. The cause of death was not immediately known.
Hayes co-wrote the hit song “Soul Man” and provided the voice of “Chef” on South Park.
Our prayers and condolences go out to the Hayes friends and family.
RIP.

This says all I need to know about you! He was found by his treadmill, he was a Scientology’s, no drugs, Bernie had pneumonia. You don’t understand what these men meant to those of us of color growing up! How dare you think you have the right to tell us how to project our feelings! The original comment was non challenging , you took to another level! Then you post this! What did they do bad? One had a life threatening disease, the other we don’t know, yet. But it was obvious he was working out! Stick to Heath, River, John and many others that I respected but contributed to their deaths, don’t go there now missy, these are men that died an early death and did nothing to deserve it. SHAME ON YOU!

Im not sure if people realize how versatile Isaac Hayes was.
A musical genius but also as a comedic and dramatic actor.
From sinister bad guys to a funny song singing chef.
He contributed to countless soundtracks for films and television

One of my mothers favorites, I grew up listing to his songs. I am very sad today/ this weekend. first B Mac, now Isaac Hayes. I can only say, Rest in Peace. We will never forget you!
