Britney Spears & Russell Brand’s VMAs Commercials
Check out two new hilarious 2008 MTV VMAs commercials featuring host Russell Brand and pop princess Britney Spears.
“It was mostly ad-libbed, with Russell asking her for advice about hosting the show,” a source tells E!. “There’s also a 9,000-pound elephant in it, as in ‘the elephant in the room.’ ”

The VMAs will air live from Paramount Studios in Los Angeles and one-time only in its original format on Sunday, September 7, 2008 @ 9PM (Live ET/Tape Delayed PT).

i’m excited
to those saying Britney lost it and better popstars have come and taken over…can you please tell me who are these people? there have been a few popstars but none can touch what Britney has done. none will sell more cds, magazines, have performances more memorable than what Britney has made. She’ll have to prove that she still has it though but she isnt out of it yet especially since her latest cd is one of her best to be honest. THIS YEARS VMA’s should be her comeback everyone is waiting for…better sound, better body, better music
anyone else notice last years disaster, Britney didnt do any promo whats so ever just released a new song and bam went to perform on stage. huge disaster! but this years shes out showing shes back in shape and making PROMOS (heck she didnt promote she latest CD once on any show) so this is a good sign that this year she’ll show everyone shes still on top

Wow…amazing how she so quickly “recovered’ from her supposed mental illness. Convince the judge that you’re crazy and he’ll take your kids away…and that, she did! For the smart people out there, we knew it was all an act and that she didn’t want the day in and day out responsibilities of motherhood. She fooled so many, and now she’s able to focus all of her time on herself instead of her sons. I’m calling my mom tomorrow and thanking her for sacrificing so much for me by being there and not being self-absorbed and narcissistic like Britney is. Britney is a disgrace to the word “mother”.

If u go to the vma’s website and see their most memorable performances over the last 25 or so years, u’ll see that EVERY SINGLE BRITNEY PERFORMANCE IS THERE…ALL FIVE OF EM!! THE STRIP-TEAST ONE, THE SNAKE ONE, KISSING MADONNA…all of em! This truly shows she is already a legend. How is miley (or other teen twats running around these days) are even gonna come close to what she has already done, let alone top her?!

Britney is relevant and she only 26 shes sold over 100 million records. Yes rhianna is new and pretty., but she has not reached britneys success. Amy winehouse is even more messed up then britney was! Duffy is OK but she hasnt caught on yet in the us. Britney is here to stay. She looks great sounds great and is healthy! She is back and is a pop icon!
