Uh, no. Why are they bothering to make a PoP movie anyway? The games are brilliant and should be left as such.

I was sort of excited when I first heard about the project, but decided later that it would probably be a flop no matter who they chose to act the Prince. Movies based on games and vice versa only seldomly work out alright, and as a huge fan of the games, I just don’t see this one adapting well. Seeing these pictures just confirms that for me. No offense meant to Jake or his fans, of course, I’m all for guys bulking up. :3 I just can’t see him in this role at all. I personally would have voted in favour of an unknown or lesser known actor. Not Jake, not Orlando (Although I can see him fitting into this role more easily based off his former roles in PotC, LotR, Kingdom of Heaven, etc.). I would have liked to see someone we’ve never seen before and have no pre-existing personas from previous productions attached to them. Not that we can count on casting to actually do that much work. I expect they likely just went through the bloody tabloids and decided, “Oh hey, he sort of looks like the Prince,” and called him up. Brilliant work, guys. Insert dramatic sigh.

Anyways, I really do hope to be surprised (I doubt it, but I do hope). :] Though I probably won’t spend the money to see it in theatres unless the trailers reeaally impress me. They’d better work some magic between now and 2010.

It isn’t important how ridicolous he looks like…The help of his father the film director and Naomi Foner her mother whose have influence in Hollywood …and the brothel whose Reese Witherspoon have been working for long years will hell him very much!!!

People can be forced to work with someone everyday in an office for 20 years, hate their guts and still be pleasant for the sake of peace. He thinks very little of her and doesn’t feel sorry for her anymore. But you believe what you like. I’m done!!

I do have a basis for my statements, which is none of your business. The things that you list as making them the perfect couple are minor things that don’t equal love or close frienship possibility. If a born again Christian stepped to Jake now who also doesn’t drink, go out clubbing, take drugs and the like, would that alone make them perfect partners? No. You obviously have never had a close relationship with another human being because you would know that simple lives do not equal simple personalities. There is no closeness there and there never will be.

She is really that arrogant, passive aggressive, manipulative and without any real emotion for anyone but herself.

I am not jealous of Reese Witherspoon, there is nothing to be envious of - nothing. If she were talented or intelligent I would want to hang out with her as I enjoy being around those types of people and don’t feel envy towards them. She is not so I have little/no time for her.

She is pushy to the point of being completely out of line, whilst all the time smiling in your face and acting innocent. She is a bully. Only someone who has never come across someone like that before would fall for it. I wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her or turn my back on her for a second.

She is someone to avoid, in my opinion. She makes most people feel uneasy in her presence esp. when she starts to talk to them. Her money is all that she has to offer and she knows this. She has some power in Hollywood which she abuses, but that power is only with those below her on the ladder (she bullies them) not with those above or even on the same level.

I know that I sound like a hater but I am not one. I am a happy person with a lot to look forward to in my life.

Ivana you have more sense than most of these loser/posters. It’s pretty obvious that they would not be spending as much time together as they do if they did not like one another. They are not that stupid. BTW when I first saw the title on this story I thought it said “Jake Gyllenhaal is sh&tless” and I wondered how Jared knew anything about his elimination problems. Then I realized he said “shirtless” with an “r” there in a crucial location. Without the “r” it is quite alarming.

Who the eff is Tamina? O_o It’s a mistake to have chosen Jake to be the Prince - he’s just not right for the part. This movie is gonna suck balls. Disney has officially died for me. t(-____-t)
