OlderJake Gyllenhaal is the Shirtless Prince of Persia
Jake Gyllenhaal channels his inner brute and shows off his newly buff body on the set of his latest movie, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, in Morocco, North Africa on Monday morning.
The 27-year-old actor, who has an entire mane of hair now, held hands with his actress girlfriend Reese Witherspoon. The couple spent the the weekend at the exclusive luxury Moroccan hotel Amanjena. Gyllenspoon grabbed lunch on Saturday at a Moroccan restaurant followed by a tour of the local sights.
In the film, Jake will play Dastan, a young prince in sixth century Persia who must join forces with Tamina (Gemma Arterton), a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

The Disney Company has another owners. The family of Disney don’t decided about the production of the films more.
The new owners are very dirty and they use the good image of Walt Disney to atract the children and adult for their unfair plays.
They made a film called “The House of Yes” whose show the love betwen ” brother and sister”. Total dirty and this theme had inspiration of the dirty family strutcture of their owners…
They have a director called “Victor Salva” whose was in prison because he abused of a boy with 10 years old!!!
Disney has officialy died in the moment of the family of Walt Disney for owners with bad character and criminals!
I loved the games and I was just dying for this movie to come out. Now that I’ve seen these pictures…I highly doubt I will even watch the previews. And who in the world are Dastan and Tamina? If the movie makers thought that Farrah and Prince were stupid names, they must have been snorting somthing when they came up with these names. Not to mention the casting.

Nothing against Jake Gyllenhaal, but I’d think that Rodrigo Santoro would fit the part better. I always thought that the Prince should be slender.

Hunnybunny, if you are seeing another movie and the preview for Prince of Persia comes on you are going to see it, not to mention commercials. Very stupid to not even wait until the movie is done filming to decide whether it is good or not.
A few pictures with Jake in partial costume, on his downtime should not decide if he is a good Daston. Most of you need to get a grip. I have faith in Jake because he has done a very good job in his other movies and he is a very talented actor.
He doesn’t look Iranian/Persian at all. John Abraham was supposedly being considered for the role - they should’ve stuck with him, or gotten another Iranian actor..or at least someone middle-eastern.
Sara, you are a bit clueless. Not every Persian/Iranian/Middle Eastern person is dark. Jake looks very much like the Warrior Within version of the game so he does seem right for the part.

Ben Barnes would have been way better than Jake. And I usually love Jake Gyllenhaal, but that is just wrong. They took the wrong actor for that. And why did they give him a name? What was cool about the Prince was that we never got to find out his name. And why is Farah’s name different in the movie? Oh well… I should have known. Usually when you make a movie out of a video game, the result isn’t optimal… Sadly enough. I’ll watch the movie though. But his body… it just looks fake. Oh God. I’m scarred of the result… Again, Ben Barnes would have been waaaay better. And the haircut suits him better than Jake. The ROLE suits him better than Jake… Sorry Jake!
These are funny photos of the prince. There he is, looking perfectly prince of persia like in that costume, and then he’s holding the hand of a woman dressed perfectly normal. You gotta admit its a silly picture. In any case, he’s gonna make a good prince.
This film is just BASED on the game, so cut them some slack. I’m sure he will be wonderful as he has been in all of his movies. As for the body, wrap him up and I’ll take him to go!
