Lauren Conrad’s Clothing Success
Lauren Conrad (in BCBG Maz Azria) hosts a party at Christian Audigier The Nightclub inside Treasure Island Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday.
The Hills star hosted the party to celebrate the success of her clothing line.
The 22-year-old has been tapped to design a couture gown for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards trophy girls who hand out U.S. television’s top honors. “I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist,” she said in a statement.
Lauren returns for the fourth season of The Hills, premiering Monday, August 18 at 10 p.m. on MTV.

She only got into fashion school because of her wallet. She’s one of the worst ‘designers’ I’ve ever seen. So boring. Plus she always gives the same pose. I feel like I’ve seen this pictures 1000 times before.

Nay to the dress, sick of the bent back arms, sick of the fake hair. I liked her so much better on Laguna Beach when she was a no-name.
LC CANNOT and WILL NOT be designing a couture gown. That word is the most misused word on the blogs. To design couture and to call your garment couture requires a licenses from the French government and requires a great level of skill and design that LC does not and will never possess. LC is “designing” a very nice dress NOT couture.

I hate to say this but sometimes it looks like LC has downs syndrome. I think it has something to do with her tongue and it being big and lower in her mouth.

I agree #24. I almost bought something today from her line but then I looked down and it was almost $200 for a simple top! Wow! And, this is coming from someone who doesn’t have a budget. I was like no way.
