Tom Cruise: Food Fight!!!!!!

Since passing off his role in Edwin A. Salt to Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise is rumored to be joining the warmhearted comedy Food Fight.

The 46-year-old actor would play the role of a snooty New York chef who is forced to cook meals at a school cafeteria, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Tom’s move to genre of comedy comes after his much buzzed-about, movie-stealing performance in Tropic Thunder, in which he plays a fat, bald, over-the-top studio exec. The film opens in theaters everywhere this Wednesday, August 13.

This photo makes me sad. Tom has/had such beautiful hair. Why on earth does he insist on letting the media photograph him with hair that’s less than. Remember “Vanilla Sky”? That beautiful poster of him with the soft clouds around him? I want that back. I know he can still do it. Or that chiseled look he sported in MI:2. And basically every single one of his films prior to… I guess recently. Argh!

Lets get real here. Cruise didn’t pass on Salt. He was dumped and now he’s stuck doing ridiculous comedy movies cause no one else wants him.
