i’ve been to a few memorials and they were all tasteful and everyone dressed respectfully. i’ve never seen anyone dressed in pajamas or had their bra showing, but then again, i’ve never been to a redneck memorial service.

u think jennifer aniston is distraught? if she were, she wouldn’t have spent 2 hours on her hair and make up before showing up. that outfit was no accident, wake up already.

jmfan @ 08/12/2008 at 9:18 am According to Ok Magazine’s website, John is staying at the Four Seasons hotel until his next tour date. It also says Jennifer went to the Four Seasons the other day. No mention of whether they met up there or not, though. I would assume they did.

It can be argued that she has reached her level of incompetence.

However, the entertainment industry relies on box office receipts to determine a star’s “competence” to continue working. Currently, Aniston’s box office worth is still quite high; she provides an impressive return on every dollar invested in her. When her box office draw wanes, then she will have reached her “movie actress” plateau. Perhaps her appeal is on the decline. The upcoming releases of her various projects will ultimately tell the tale.

Jen produces, works, has a company, is it not something worthwhile ?

She is not one of the party girl who spends the family money! For you being a movie star is nothing, but for her may be it is her dream, her life. And she works hard for it. It is a while back, may be for 28 years! And do you think she only stayed at home to get what she has now?

She works also as the producer her next coming film. It means what? Provides jobs - JOBS - an unfamiliar word for you I suppose - for many people! And if it is not something worthwhile, then I don’t know what else.

By the way, the next thing you will say that she shall stop breathing, because somebody else does it!

JENNIFER ANISTON has reportedly been dumped by her rocker boyfriend JOHN MAYER.
The pair became romantically linked earlier this year (08), with Aniston claiming she was happier than ever with her new beau, stating, “Being in love makes you happy.”
But the union appears to have broken down, with the singer telling the Friends actress he can’t commit to her, according to tabloid reports.
A source tells Britain’s the Daily Mirror newspaper, “There’s been a bit of tension for some time. They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn’t seem to have worked.
“John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn’t ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved. Contrary to reports, Jen didn’t want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together.
“Initially Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she’s simply sad - not to mention a little heartbroken.”
And the source reveals that a reunion is unlikely.
They add, “They have spoken on the phone since the split and are trying to remain on good terms. But unless John has a dramatic change of heart, it’s unlikely they’ll rekindle their romance.”

I think you’re confused on what it means to have a production company…
the only requirement to have one is … money…. that’s why everyone has one, there are very few who are successful, sooo I don’t think that counts as real work…also correct me if I’m wrong, but a production company does not (usually) finances the costs for doing a film (you know… the jobs she supposedly provides), it only buys the rights to do a film. The investors are the ones who put their money for a film, that’s the reason why when you see the credits in a film, there are a lot of names below “producer”.

ocean’s 13 script wasn’t much better. ted g. is a brilliant writer and i hope he doesn’t chuck it permanently. it’s too bad that brad can’t even help him out because of appearances. the problem is that all the smoke and mirrors leaves him twisting in the wind because it looks like there was cause. whether that is true or not may never be revealed. the one person who knows is mark ruffalo and he is not a power player in hollywood and i also don’t think he wants to be involved in that side of things. what he has said is somewhat telling.

jenny might have gotten away clean if she has just tucked her tail and kept her mouth shut, but no, there had to be a fall guy. speaking of which that is part of the reason why she didn’t work for two years which is four-fold in my opinion 1) she didn’t have brad to push her for projects which i understand he did a lot of when it was clear friends was done. which i think points more to the fact that the marriage was moribund than anything else. if he had really wanted to start a family why help her fix 6-8 projects, i think it was a lovely parting gift a la the price is right. she’s never had the like again and she never will imo. you can say she threw away the opportunity or you can say she was never up to the task. if tend to believe the former. there has to be a very, very good reason jenny is in therapy for over 20 years. 2) there was zero good buzz about any of her filmwork and the possibility that costner was honest about his experiences/feelings or even just silent would be another black mark against jenny. if he was outraged as suspected the source he may have been very vocal. 3) like the garbage with costner she had to throw out sympathy lures about her marriage ending when it became clear to her that just handling the split with truthful dignity wasn’t getting her any attention. it is hard to say whose idea the vanity fair mess was but as soon as she threw angie under a bus she had chosen to make herself one monster problem in hollywood and 4) when the studios wanted to use the marriage ending as a selling point for the break up she was only too happy to oblige and that supplied the coffin nails.

jenny’s friendship with mayer’s daughter isn’t helping her much at the moment. if goree girls is greenlit it may just be dreamworks plan to leave it at paramount when they split. paramount has no stake in it at the moment. anyone who knows the mess that new line cinema left behind can imagine that outcome.

great find! this my friends is why aniston has her own production company, to create jobs for herself. Speaking of which, what happened to her baby “Goree Girls”? Seems like there hasn’t been any updates from her production company aside from acquiring projects for development. Looks like it’s going to take more than $27m to get those off the ground.
