Vanessa Hudgens Sued For $5 Million
High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens is being sued by producer Johnny Vieira for more than $5 million and punitive damages.
In May 2005, Vieira claims he and Vanessa entered into an agreement to launch Vanessa’s career and “share equally” in the profits. But after High School Musical became a hit, he says she dropped him and owes him $2 million.
Vanessa even sent a photo of herself to Viera with this inscription: “Johnny, thank you for everything, without you, I would be no where [sic], we will make it BIG- Vanessa Hudgens. Sweet.” You can see the note at TMZ.

I completely agree with #376 UK. We should all show our support for Vanessa in every way possible.. If it is true and she has to pay up, why not raise some sort of fund or do something really meaningful that can make her feel our love and endless support for her? At least it’ll put a smile on her face.. We just have to put our hands together and continue being supportive.. That desperate-for-money ******* can GO TO HELL!!!
I think Vanessa is going to be fine. She strong, smart and a good person.

Another example of how the adults around Vanessa have let her down. What kind of a man preys on a 16 yr. old? And why aren’t her lawyers doing their job?? It’s just not right.
I really hope she gets through it. If she doesn’t have the 5 million, she’s probably close to it.

I completely support Vanessa that guy is just after her money if this is true why didn’t that guy sue her when HSM first came out instead of suing her when HSM3 comes out ,and when she is doing so well with her career , I hope she wins and doesn’t have to pay for something stupid and childish
Why do some of you people find this funny? Would you find it funny if it were you? Secondly, if you didn’t care, why are you looking at these comments? Thirdly, stop bashing people you know nothing about, it isn’t like you know them, what they go through, I mean the only reason this guy is suing her is because she’s famous. Two or three years ago he would have let it slide. Finally, go find someone else to pick on. Think about if the celebrity or the celebrity’s family comes to the sites to see what their fans are saying about them, I’m almost certain they’d want to have your support. Not all of your negative comments. And in any case, this is Hollywood - do lawsuits always pan out? No, and I’m in the favor of Vanessa. I honestly think that because she was a minor when she said he’d get half (come on who today would say that?) that she could back out of it by now. Not to mention that none of this may even be true. It is a possibility it is a public stunt. HUH? Who would have ever thought that?

The person who is writing the page long post that you are bashing is CC who just happened to explain the whole situation that Vanessa is facing. Maybe you should read it and then you might understand what is going on and you will know not to be using obscenities to tell this person to get a life. They apparently have one just like you and me who are on this thread so often. CC is not on here all the time but took their time in enlightening us to the facts. And I for one, am most thankful for being able to make some sense out of all this finally. That is why some of us—who actually read the comments now know exactly what has happened from the very beginning and know how much Vanessa is being taken.
We are not making ignorant comments like the haters, nor are we saying “It’s not true”, “It’s, just made up”, etc. We know it is a fact she is being sued and why the guy thinks he can get away with it. CC was not bashing, just being helpful to us who wanted to know.
