OlderBritney Spears’ OK! Magazine Interview — FIRST LOOK
Britney Spears gives OK! magazine her first candid interview in two years. Here’s what the comeback pop princess had to say:
On not wanting her sons, Jayden and Preston, to pursue a career in the entertainment business: “I’d rather not. But but I’d love them unconditionally if they wanted to. I’d just as soon they have a more normal childhood.”
On younger sister Jamie Lynn’s recent pregnancy: “I was shocked a little bit. She’s always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling.”
On wanting her boys to be close to her newborn niece: “I’m sure the boys will be like big brothers to Maddie.”
On her new album hitting stores in six to nine months: “I think it is more urban. I’m writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room… This is my best work ever.”
Her father, Jamie Spears, was also present during the interviewing, sharing how Britney is capable of being manipulative to get her way: “It’s wonderful. (The relationship) is new for both of us. She sometimes calls me 50 times a day and asks me things that light my life up. But like all daughters, she is very manipulative and cunning. So she gets what she wants a lot… God has a way of taking something bad and turning it into something good. If this hadn’t happened, I would never have been able to get back with my daughter and have this relationship I have with these two little boys.”

I’m glad to see her getting on with her life so much better now
she’s been more mature. and I’m glad her father has taken this step to help his daughter. sometimes i think her father has more of a right mind than her mom lol
She looks sooo beautiful and happy; in recent years she looked so miserable, but in the past couple of months her true hapiness shows on her face, and it´s so positive, her career is back on track, she´s making amends with her family and she seems to be right on track for a comeback. So happy to see her so happy, best wishes to her, and congrats on all the efforts she made, they´ve certainly paid up, the results are visible.
I am not a Britney fan, but I have to say I’m so happy for her and her father. He needed to step up and she needed him. Awesome.

all of that is fine and dandy. good she is getting better, but she has a long way to go. i do not wish evil on her. all would be much better for her and her kids if she would have not put them on cover on the mag for cash and career, and maybe just lay low for a year at least. just a year. she more than enough money to support her lifestyle with maybe some downsizing. she needs to getbetter. leave the paps alone . don’t make these kid sfacesknown tothe public so that they may have a normal childhood. she says this ,but puts them on the cover. since they have been with kevin spenderline federline sperm for cash, they have not been seen by the paps. i cannotstnad him, but he has done this right.

I am not a Britney fan, but I am very glad to see her life is turning around. I think she surrounded herslef with a lot toxic and bad people, she lost herself. . .and her kids. I am so glad to see she is healthier and surrounded herself with people who love her. . .and is enjoying be a mom.

OK, I get it, she’s on the road to recovery. But it would have been nicer if she and her father sat down with Oprah or Barbera Walters and had a real heart felt interview we could see, with out her boys. Let the public see how well she’s doing, let her speak for herself. For all we know Jamie gave that whole interview. And why collect money for it? She doesn’t need it, and why put the boys out there? These are things I will never understand.

Poor Jayden always looks like he’s on the verge of tears, unlike Sean. I think it’s because Britney was always around during Sean’s first year, unlike Jayden’s when everything was in chaos for him. I hope the little guy doesn’t have attachment issues later on.
