Jennifer Aniston takes her dogs to her assistant’s house in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The Friends star has reportedly been dumped by her latest boyfriend, John Mayer. The pair initially decided to spend some time apart, before making the break official earlier this week, according to The Mirror.
“There’s been a bit of tension for some time,” says a source close to 30-year-old musician. “They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn’t seem to have worked.”
“John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn’t ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved. Contrary to reports, Jen didn’t want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together.”
“She also wanted him to assure her he would cut down his tours in the future when they did eventually have children. Initially, Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she’s simply sad - not to mention a little heartbroken,” the source said.
“They have spoken on the phone since the split and are trying to remain on good terms. But unless John has a dramatic change of heart, it’s unlikely they’ll rekindle their romance.”

John Mayer has quite an appetite for beautiful disposable women. If I were a single female I would run away as fast as I could from anywhere John Mayer might be! Seriously, he seems to be an immoral and unethical guy who has hurt several women who certainly did not deserve to be used and dumped. However, his reputation should most certainly precede him at this point so whomever gets involved with him should expect to be “screwed” in more ways than one! This man is a womanizer in every sense of the word and his name is synonymous with hurt and heartbreak…….

I think people are starting to realize that it’s not the guys, it’s her there’s an issue with. She just didn’t want to be alone when the twins were born.

No!! No!, I refuse to believe Jen and John are over until People magazine announces it. Just you wait, there will be other photos showing them together. I won’t give up hope. These 2 are perfect for each other.
