Jennifer Aniston takes her dogs to her assistant’s house in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The Friends star has reportedly been dumped by her latest boyfriend, John Mayer. The pair initially decided to spend some time apart, before making the break official earlier this week, according to The Mirror.
“There’s been a bit of tension for some time,” says a source close to 30-year-old musician. “They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn’t seem to have worked.”
“John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn’t ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved. Contrary to reports, Jen didn’t want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together.”
“She also wanted him to assure her he would cut down his tours in the future when they did eventually have children. Initially, Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she’s simply sad - not to mention a little heartbroken,” the source said.
“They have spoken on the phone since the split and are trying to remain on good terms. But unless John has a dramatic change of heart, it’s unlikely they’ll rekindle their romance.”

It is truly amazing how you people sound as though you really KNOW her and her likes and dislikes. You just KNOW that she really has brown eyes when she appeared to have brown eyes for 1 movie. But ever since then her eyes have been blue. You just KNOW exactly what happened in her marriage. You just KNOW that Brad didn’t cheat with AJ. (BTW I just watched an interview in which AJ states that of all their movies she wants her kids to see Mr & Mrs Smith so that they can see where their parents met and fell in love. And she added that she wants them to see Mom kick Dads butt). You just KNOW that she was too clingy with all her men. You just KNOW that what she really must secretly want is to be married with children. You just KNOW that she sits by herself and cries every night for the loss of her husband. You just KNOW that she hates AJ. Yada yada yada, seems to me you don’t anything. Most of the people I’ve KNOWN in my life that think they KNOW it all about this or that prove to know very little about anything because they have this idea that they know everything and shut their mind down to learning anything. Because Chinny Chin followed John over seas to one of his concerts & you as her fan must know she hates to fly. Because she was clinging to John like static in the pool pics. Because she was jealous & had one of John’s friends who happen to be a woman ejected from one of his concerts. Because she followed John around like a little puppy all the time. Because her friend stated how she has finally found Mr. Right & she was so HAPPY. Face it - John Mayer was NOT into her & the pics proved it - just look at the pic of them in the back seat of a car. She was all over him & he was focused on the paps. He got tired of her whinny clingy has been self & sick of all the time hanging out with her friends. listen traveling person, brad was/is a good person, too good if you ask me, i don’t know what took brad so long, maybe he felt sorry for Jen, i have a sister with similar problems such as Jen, her husband is the nicest man, but my sister have some issues, we feel sorry for her husband, some times people problems are too much for one human being to handle, stop blaming everyone else for Jens apparent short commings, she needs to focus on her self before getting involved with any one else or find a guy who can handle you and your problems. there is nothing wrong with a mature person realizing that something is not working and moving on, in fact, it’s very healthy to do so, sometimes in life, if we are honest with our selves, we have to put ourselves and our happiness first, or have a nervous break down. no one should be forced to stay in an unhappy situation.

I saw the same interview but she never mentioned that they fell in love during the filming but rather that they met during filming.
