Jennifer Aniston takes her dogs to her assistant’s house in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The Friends star has reportedly been dumped by her latest boyfriend, John Mayer. The pair initially decided to spend some time apart, before making the break official earlier this week, according to The Mirror.
“There’s been a bit of tension for some time,” says a source close to 30-year-old musician. “They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn’t seem to have worked.”
“John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn’t ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved. Contrary to reports, Jen didn’t want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together.”
“She also wanted him to assure her he would cut down his tours in the future when they did eventually have children. Initially, Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she’s simply sad - not to mention a little heartbroken,” the source said.
“They have spoken on the phone since the split and are trying to remain on good terms. But unless John has a dramatic change of heart, it’s unlikely they’ll rekindle their romance.”

Millie i’ll give you that you were right. But not finding the love of her life , doesn’t mean she sleeps around, and if she does so what who cares. I’ve slept with men I’ve been attracted to are you saying you haven’t??? you think???
We all knew this one wasn’t going to last, not with someone like Mayer; it was nothing more than a summer fling. She appears to be doing well, and it looked like she was enjoying herself last week with her friends.
Really, really, really makes it hard to believe that her publicist would have planted those rumors about marriage and children if they were already ‘on a break.’
Next we’ll hear that Brad and Angelina broke them up. bwahahah

We shouldn’t believe it until they announce it officialy, however if it were true it would be very sad. She is by now 40, and it would be a good thing for her to share her live and all the money she has with a family.
Well, Brad is a tough act to follow. I have a feeling she’ll never find that person to replace the delicious William Bradly Pitt. Well, at least she can say that she was married to him. She’s got the memories of that hunk of a man named Pitt.

Didn’t you read any of the comments that Jen’s fans made right here in the old Just Jared threads or in A SS weakly?
For example Jen’s hen’s said that Vince is better than Brad. Yes, he was more good looking, more talented, more faithful, more well hung, more bigger in every sense of the word then Brad.
They said that Paul whasisname was better looking, better hung, better in bed, and younger then Brad.
And John, why Jen’s fans said that John was better than Brad, better hung, more talented, better looking, better in bed and presumably, given his self confessed predilections, even aims his pee better than Brad.
So, I ask you, how can you say that Jen’s been dating losers. Certainly not!!!

Here we go again, she split with John, yet they bring that man name again, when are you loones will stop this.
by the way she is fine fine looking woman. I mean she does not follow any thread, she just wear what she feel, she look gorgous in it.
The reason, is that she is jealous, possessive, and clingy. She turned into a groupie, basically stalking Mayer and riding his tour bus. Vaughn said she was needy.
Mayer hinted that she wanted some heavy duty commitment, and for him to stop touring, at least so much.
Look, some people just aren’t relationship material. Jen is happy with her acting, and thats great. There is no shame in being alone, not dating, and concentrating on her career. Thats what makes her happy, so thats what she should do.
#17, I have to disagree. I don’t know anything about any of the other guys but I disagree vehemently that Vince Vaughn is a loser. He’s smart, talented and good-looking. I realize that some disagree and obviously we can’t all share the same opinion. But in mine Vince would be one of the best catches in Hollywood.

Well well the same ole story seems to be repeating itself if this is true. Date, make the news, split. Vince, Paul, and now John all split. Maybe there is something wrong with Jen herself that guys pick up on? Maybe she really is needy and insecure and very clingy? Maybe Huvane has to hold her hand as usual and is already looking for a new friend for her? Maybe John saw something in Jen that made him run for the hills ASAP?
Maybe her merger with BP was with a heartbroken really great guy reeling from the whole GP fiasco who tried his best to succeed in loving her but never loved her as he had done GP and she knew it and so did he? Maybe that’s why they were in therapy from the beginning of the merger? Maybe BP saw a chance to have a real profound deep love with Angelina and the family they both yearned for, but like the good guy he is he tried his best to keep the merger with Jen but it ran its limited course? Maybe some of her diehard fans will accept the fact that Jen may be better off by herself until she solves her inner unhappiness with herself?
Just some thoughts to ponder Jenfans.
