OlderJennifer Aniston Dumped By John Mayer?
Jennifer Aniston takes her dogs to her assistant’s house in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The Friends star has reportedly been dumped by her latest boyfriend, John Mayer. The pair initially decided to spend some time apart, before making the break official earlier this week, according to The Mirror.
“There’s been a bit of tension for some time,” says a source close to 30-year-old musician. “They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn’t seem to have worked.”
“John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn’t ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved. Contrary to reports, Jen didn’t want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together.”
“She also wanted him to assure her he would cut down his tours in the future when they did eventually have children. Initially, Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she’s simply sad - not to mention a little heartbroken,” the source said.
“They have spoken on the phone since the split and are trying to remain on good terms. But unless John has a dramatic change of heart, it’s unlikely they’ll rekindle their romance.”

#17, I have to disagree. I don’t know anything about any of the other guys but I disagree vehemently that Vince Vaughn is a loser. He’s smart, talented and good-looking. I realize that some disagree and obviously we can’t all share the same opinion. But in mine Vince would be one of the best catches in Hollywood.

Yes, certainly Vince is smart, and talented. The good looking part is not important because you’ll find the person you love to be beautiful in your own eyes and that is all that really should matter.
However, despite being smart and talented I have more doubts about a man who can say this after a one night stand:

I can honestly say, that a man with this sort of attitude?? He ain’t no catch but that just my opinion.

Well….ummm I am not mad about it….but maybe now John Mayer and Alicia Keys will realize their love for one another….and make beautiful babies together.
At this point, she has got to be sabotaging her love life. As stated early, John mayer’s rep precedes him at this point…she knew what she was getting into. Unless she decided to turn a blind eye to it, just as she did to her relationship with Brad when it was obviously falling apart (she wanted to work it out–but anyone else could see it was OVER.)
I pity Jen, but at the same time, she seems kinda pathetic.
Jenfans maybe your insistance that she has to have a man makes her go and get one. The guys she dates are OK, but maybe they are not into providing total emotional security to an insecure 39 year old woman. That situation would have to wear people down fairly quickly.
Why don’t you Jenfans try supporting her as a single woman who wants a career BUT does not and NEVER DID want kids or a family. Why keep whining that she needs a man and kids when it is obvious that is not true at all?
Now once more this breakup story may not be true, but if it is try looking at Jen for what she seems to want for herself, not what some of you keep insisting that she wants.
Now if she is indeed at TIFF it will be to try to find a distributor for Management as so far no one has picked it up, times are tough and money is tight. Management was made on pennies I suspect as I remember that scenes in Seattle were filmed wih a cardboard cutout of Jen. Maybe that indicates that it is not much of a film.
There goes the Number 6 guy she dated and slept with within 3 yrs and 8 months. She’s competing with Kate Hudson for the most number of dic.k score. the two favorite American sweetheart .hahahah….

ocean’s 13 script wasn’t much better. ted g. is a brilliant writer and i hope he doesn’t chuck it permanently. it’s too bad that brad can’t even help him out because of appearances. the problem is that all the smoke and mirrors leaves him twisting in the wind because it looks like there was cause. whether that is true or not may never be revealed. the one person who knows is mark ruffalo and he is not a power player in hollywood and i also don’t think he wants to be involved in that side of things. what he has said is somewhat telling.
jenny might have gotten away clean if she has just tucked her tail and kept her mouth shut, but no, there had to be a fall guy. speaking of which that is part of the reason why she didn’t work for two years which is four-fold in my opinion 1) she didn’t have brad to push her for projects which i understand he did a lot of when it was clear friends was done. which i think points more to the fact that the marriage was moribund than anything else. if he had really wanted to start a family why help her fix 6-8 projects, i think it was a lovely parting gift a la the price is right. she’s never had the like again and she never will imo. you can say she threw away the opportunity or you can say she was never up to the task. if tend to believe the former. there has to be a very, very good reason jenny is in therapy for over 20 years. 2) there was zero good buzz about any of her filmwork and the possibility that costner was honest about his experiences/feelings or even just silent would be another black mark against jenny. if he was outraged as suspected the source he may have been very vocal. 3) like the garbage with costner she had to throw out sympathy lures about her marriage ending when it became clear to her that just handling the split with truthful dignity wasn’t getting her any attention. it is hard to say whose idea the vanity fair mess was but as soon as she threw angie under a bus she had chosen to make herself one monster problem in hollywood and 4) when the studios wanted to use the marriage ending as a selling point for the break up she was only too happy to oblige and that supplied the coffin nails.
jenny’s friendship with mayer’s daughter isn’t helping her much at the moment. if goree girls is greenlit it may just be dreamworks plan to leave it at paramount when they split. paramount has no stake in it at the moment. anyone who knows the mess that new line cinema left behind can imagine that outcome.

Seems like there hasn’t been any updates from her production company aside from acquiring projects for development. Looks like it’s going to take more than $27m to get those off the ground.
Oh looks like Aniston will be taking Management to the Toronto film festival to find a distributor. Same strategy Kimmel International had when it took Synecdoche, New York to Cannes but will it have the same results?

I just love how the same person who recently said how they are the greatest couple in HW and how mayer loves her and bla bla is now trying to defend her fake idol, I just love this “We all her fans do not care about man” … well my guess now maniston fans will go with the same old thing “brad is guilty again” bla bla bla … And than again maniston fans are wondering why people dislike maniston so much … well when you look at her fans …

It’s almost like she doesn’t want to find that right guy and move on. Her choices in men since Brad left shows me she is sabotaging every single relationship unconsciously Someone needs to slap her and help her come to her senses.

She wanted to change Mayer the way she thought she had changed Brad. Brad was her “yes man” for 7 years because he loved her but enough was enough for him, what was his incentive? He only asked for kids and that she couldn’t even give him. What was the man to do? The problem is not the men, it’s her - that’s the common denominator. Until she confronts her issues and learns to accept and love herself, she will not find love or the right guy. Brad was the right guy and even that she messed up!! Bet she is realizing just what a gem she had only that now it’s a little to late chica….he is with someone who actually got his back this time, someone who loves him enough to grant him his dream.
