Brad Pitt, wearing “Boyd” sunglasses in espresso by Badgley Mischka, spends some quality time with Zahara Jolie-Pitt as they smile up a storm and enjoy the day at the Aime and Marguerite Maeght Foundation, a contemporary and modern art museum that has been designed to harmonize with its natural surroundings in Saint Paul de Vence, France on Wednesday.
Brad’s parents, Jane Pitt and William Pitt joined their son and their 3 1/2 year-old granddaughter for the fun day!

Brad Pitt is far from ugly hun. He is a father and he is being a dad right now, and seems to be enjoying every bit of it! He is not caught up in trying to look his best when he is out with his children. He is actually much more sexier now than he was in his early days. Why, because he has matured as he should have at the age of 44.
If living the Hollywood shallow lifestyle & keeping up with the Joneses was what he wanted he would have stayed were he was 4 years ago.
Well the thing that got Pitt famous is gone, gone, gone. He looks just awful and so old now. Wow. There goes the career your looks were built on.

I love that the whole family sees as much of each other as they can. Brad’s sister and brother were there with their kids playing at the chateau this summer, too. LOADS of family time and cousins playing together. It’s truly wonderful what Angie has done for Brad.

Brad looks great. He is a dad and is loving it. I also love that his parents are still there in France supporting the family. I saw on another thread that his dad was there too, just not photographed. I don’t understand why it is necessary to compare Brad to Johnny or Will. This is not a photo op. I see Will Smith out with his kids all the time. He and Jada take their kids to premiers and allow their children to act and everything. Yet I never hear any criticism what so ever. Brad had Shiloh with him on the set of The CCBB, while Angie was getting Pax. The child slated to do the part was really fussy, so they asked if Shi could do the brief shot. He said ok, well here come the haters, saying he is pimping his kid. We see Jen G out all the time with Violet. Never hear anyone screaming photo op. Selma H, out with her baby, nothing said. Brad and Angie do not take their kids to premiers. If they wanted a photo op that would be the place. They don’t go to any of the celebrity children events. Whether you like them or not, I do believe they love their children and are doing a wonderful job raising them. When we do see the kids, they are happy and healthy. Paula Wagner steps down at United Artists
The CEO’s departure raises uncertainty about the film studio and Tom Cruise, her longtime business partner.

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.’s much-ballyhooed plan to revive the moribund United Artists studio was derailed Wednesday when the movie label’s chief executive, Paula Wagner, stepped down after less than two years on the job.
Wagner’s departure marks an end to her longtime business partnership with actor Tom Cruise, who, along with Wagner, was recruited by MGM chief Harry Sloan in 2006 in a bid to bring UA back to life and help return the struggling MGM to its former stature as a major Hollywood player.
Wagner and Cruise have been a producing team for more than 15 years, making such movies as the “Mission: Impossible” series and “War of the Worlds.” Before the two formed a production company in 1992, Wagner was Cruise’s agent for 11 years.
The development also spells uncertainty for Cruise, who had hoped to revive his career by resuscitating one of Hollywood’s most storied movie studios. Cruise and Wagner joined UA just two months after their dramatic departure from Paramount Pictures amid a bitter falling out with Sumner Redstone, chairman of the studio’s parent, Viacom Inc. Redstone publicly berated Cruise for his off-screen antics, which the mogul blamed for the actor’s diminishing box-office appeal.
The fate of UA and how long Cruise will stay in the fold are now in question. Cruise is not an executive at UA but, together with Wagner, owns a 30% stake in the studio and is involved in creative matters.
“I love Paula,” Cruise said through his publicist. “We’ve worked together and have been friends for almost 25 years. I support her in anything she does . . . and I look forward to working together and producing films in the future.”
In a statement, MGM said that the two would retain their ownership interest and that “nothing will change in regard to Mr. Cruise’s involvement with UA.” MGM said he and Wagner would continue to work on some UA projects together.
MGM did not name a successor to Wagner, who has been negotiating to leave her job for several weeks, as was first reported Wednesday on the Wall Street Journal’s website.
Wagner, who like Cruise was not available to comment, will return to being a producer under her own movie shingle.
“As much as I’ve enjoyed my time as an executive, I have longed to return to my true love, which is making movies, so that’s what I’ve decided to do,” she said in a prepared statement.
Wagner had a tough time making the transition from producer to studio chief and putting together an annual slate of movies, according to several people close to the situation. They said there was friction between Wagner and Sloan over the lack of movies that had been greenlighted for production since her arrival.

Will Smith makes blockbuster movies only. He determined what type of movies make the most money and he makes those type of movies. Making money is his only aim. He doesn’t and wouldn’t make some of the movies Pitt or even Depp for that matter made. In his blockbusters it’s more about special effects than it is about acting. He might have potential as a great actor if he worked at it, but that apparently is not important to him, money and mo money is.
Cruise could never make Fight Club, Snatch, Kalifornia, 12 Monkeys, Seven nor a number of other Pitt movies. Granted he has been good in a few movies, but he has not done anything to test the range of his acting abilities. As for as Johnny Depp he likes uber quirky characters, something he and Pitt are very good at playing. So no banana for you on this comparison either.
Great Box Office is not synonymous with being a great actor.

After Sloan brought Wagner and Cruise aboard to operate UA as an autonomous movie unit in November 2006, he was able to secure a $500-million revolving film fund with Merrill Lynch & Co. for them to produce four films a year over five years with budgets averaging $40 million to $50 million.
Not complying with certain start dates and release dates could jeopardize the financing, said one person with knowledge of the deal who asked for anonymity because it is confidential.
This person said Wagner was not used to these types of deadlines and was not queuing up movies fast enough to meet the fund’s requirements. Wagner and Cruise had the authority to give the go-ahead to any movie with a budget up to $60 million. MGM, which markets and releases UA films, has to approve films above that budget level.
Since Wagner joined UA, the studio has released just one picture, the $35-million political drama “Lions for Lambs,” starring Cruise, which bombed at the box office and lost tens of millions of dollars. The company’s next release, “Valkyrie,” a World War II drama also headlined by Cruise and costing close to $85 million, was pushed off until next year but MGM announced Wednesday that it would hit theaters Dec. 26.
Wagner was said to be upset when MGM passed on a big-budget production she submitted this year called “Ranger’s Apprentice,” written and directed by Paul Haggis, the filmmaker behind the Oscar-winning hit “Crash.” MGM didn’t think the children’s fantasy story justified a $100-million-plus budget, a person close to the studio said.
Wagner tried to shop the project to other studios but found no takers.
Her impending departure is a black eye for Sloan, whose plan for UA is unraveling at a time when he is attempting to raise hundreds of millions of dollars in sorely needed film financing for debt-ridden MGM. He recently hired former Universal Pictures executive Mary Parent to turn around MGM’s sagging box-office fortunes.
Sloan, a media entrepreneur, was recruited in 2005 by a consortium of investors, including Sony Corp. of America, Providence Equity Partners and Texas Pacific Group, to help MGM regain its footing.

Pavlechko said his first meeting with Pitt was in secrecy at the church. “He had on a ballcap and dark glasses,” Pavlechko said. “He wanted to learn and not fake it.”

God, I feel sorry for your in laws. . .having you for a daughter in law. I mean no matter horrible they may have been in their past, having you in the family is just too much too bear. This is definitely a case where the punishment is far, far far, worse than the crime. I’ll pray that God continue to give them the fortitude to carry on, at least for the sake of their poor son who is saddled with you for life.

The music has always held up as the best part of Song of the South, and that song in particular has endured as a timeless expression of joy manifested in singing, much like “whistle while you work” is not meant as an ode to sweatshops. I think the sheer joy on Z’s face at being out and about with Brad is what made it seem she was singing for joy.

Thank you, I was just doing a google search on it. Honestly, the first time I heard the song was in the movie Life with Mickey, one of the children sang it and even though she didn’t complete it, it certainly didn’t sound racist. Here are the lyrics and after reading it, anyone can clearly see what angle Jared was going with. Was it a streach? With the recent pics of X, she doesn’t look pissed. I thought she hated paparazzi considering that she’s often photographed trying to cover her face with her security blanket. Now, she seems like she wants the camera to take good shots of her. It seems like she wants to project an image that she’s very ok even after her recent break-up with a short-lived romance with Mayer, if indeed it’s not a PR romance. I was wondering if her name is synonymous with anything manufactured. Manufactured romance initiated by a person with regularly manufactured physical features to create a manufactured tabloid stories with the great assistance of her notorious publicist to gain manufactured media attention to get the illusion of belonging to her manufactured clout in show business.
On the other hand, the JPs are synonymous with honesty, sincerity, living their lives with real purpose and meaning. It’s the exact opposite of Xs life. Obviously, this is the ideal life to live, quality life. Life with substance. No superficial things. Priorities are always set.
