OT: Olympics update: Blake beat Federer. I am upset with the programming. Every time they said tennis would be showing I waited to see if the sisters, Venus & Serena were playing. I never saw them until today when the showed Serena losing. Gee thanks. Whatabout showing her when she won. They show Federer at least twice. Oh well he lost also. I think the sisters are going to play doubles. Peace

I love these! Just wrote about Angelina and Zahara’s matching Mommy & Me fashions in my last blog post…remember the matching Versace handbags from last summe? So so sweet!

Z is such a loving & active girl, she is enjoying her outing with daddy & grammy. I hope, the grandparents will stay with them till the Jolie-Pitt’s are ready to go back home in States. I do hope, Angie go with Brad in Venice, it’s always nice to see them on the red carpet.

Now I know you’re trippin’! You don’t think people would love to see Depp with his family? i bet he would sell better than Pitt , But J. Depp doesn’t seem to be willing to play that game. Same with Will Smith.

As for Tom … He fell off for a minute, but he’s back and hilarious in Tropic Thunder. Way funnier than that Pitt-face in the trailer for his new George Clooney movie. Pitt looks like he’s trying to hard in that movie.

Most people have come to know Depp for 3 things: Good films, his hugely insulting comments about America, and his seclusion in France. His wife is virtually an unknown to America, despite her huge fame in France. And French people are much less invasive than America and its media. The interest in is soley with Depp, not his wife and his family.

The Jolie-Pitts are a very different story. People are fascinated with the children and both Angelina and Brad are GLOBAL stars. They are famous for three very different things: their films, their global humanitarian work, and their beautifully expanding family, with their biological children each being blessed by their phenomenal genes. The children’s pictures have each fetch quite a bit of buzz and charity cash and each child has its own buzz and fame in their own right.

The Jolie-Pitts go beyond their films and so do their families, and they are like royalty in the amount of interest in both themselves and their lineage.

Sorry, if you know American media, they do not have much interest in gaining “play-by-play” photos of black celebrities, for several reasons, even if they are as huge as Will Smith. They only care if he has a film coming out.

The film, I repeat, “Tropic Thunder,” it’s buzz was created by showing promos containing Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., with considerable buzz about his play on race, and the hugely successful funny-man Ben Stiller. Sorry, I did not see Cruise in any promos, his was mentioned only in an online article I saw in passing, and he is not known for his comedic delivery. There is was slight buzz only for the fact that Cruise looked unrecognizable and was doing an uncharacteristic role. The film was/ will be a success with or without Mr. Scientology, which is largely what HE is known for right now.
