Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri, 2, arrive back at the luxurious Carlyle hotel on New York City’s Upper East Side after a fun-filled evening at Chelsea Piers on Thursday.
The day after news broke of Paula Wagner’s departure from United Artists, MGM chairman and CEO Harry E. Sloan sent out the below statement about Paula’s UA partner, Tom Cruise:
“I would like to clarify that we are honored that he will continue as our full partner in control of UA,” Sloan said. “He is in the middle of one of the greatest careers our industry has ever seen and one that will continue at the top of United Artists Entertainment.”
Earlier today, it was announced that Tom’s WWII Valkyrie will open the day after Christmas.

Suri annoys the hell out of me.
This child is obviously uncomfortable. If Katie would place the blanket gently over her head and walk thru the flashes, the problem would be solved. BUT instead the child is angled (or it seems like it from the photos so that the paps can get a good shot of her face. I just don’t get why as a parent she doesn’t do this simple thing.

I wonder why Tom didn’t put in an appearance. He’s in NYC now, reportedly with them but who knows. I’m sure the hotel has separate wings just like home sweet home.
Guess after all the shake-ups behind the scenes lately Tommy Boy didn’t want to subject himself to the paparazzi and reporters in his face.
But it’s perfectly okay to let his “wife” and two year old daughter get throiwn to the wolves.

According to scientology, Suri can suck a baby bottle until she is a grown woman. So don’t expect to see her put the bottle down in the near future. It may be when she is in her teens when she is shamed by her peers, into putting the bottle down.
That is one obnoxious little brat. Other kids are going to rib her about that baby bottle.
I can see Suri in the future as a Paris Hilton, no limits or decipline is being set for her. It is a sad case.
