Well, something to look forward to, after that depressing news. Takes your mind away and I’m looking forward to this movie. Hopefully, when it comes out in the states, I will get to see it within the month in my country.

HSM isn’t some little movie, its a worldwide phenominon, something which shouldn’t be taken lightly whether you like it or not, you can’t deny its sucess, that some people can only dream about, and that isn’t something to be looked down upon. how many copies has her album sold? the reviews on itunes are not so good, so i didn’t buy it…
yeah its gotten terrible reviews–i think its sold around 25 thousand copies which is reallllyyy bad, especially for a disney star like herself who gets so much publicity.
that sucks for her. There really is no excuse since now she’s always in the spotlight. i guess the album genuinely isn’t very good.

It sold 22,000 copies the first week it was released. That was six weeks ago it has sold more then 25,000 copies since then. to rita–on amazon.com it says that her album has sold 27 thousand copies. i dont know why ppl are saying its sold more–it hasnt!!!! and it HAS gotten really bad reviews…
Vanessa has fans in many places who are still waiting to be able to get their hands on a copy. It hasn’t even made it to some countries. So, there is way after only 6 weeks to say “This is all it has sold”. You don’t know how many more copies will be sold. Plus, she is on tour right now and her concerts are doing very well and she has only gotten good press on those concert outings. BTW, the CD is very good. It is amazingly addictive. And before anybody says that I would say that because I’m such a fan of hers, I just recently purchased a copy within the past 2 weeks because I didn’t know if I would like it all that much—not because it wasn’t good but because I wasn’t sure it was my type music. BUT I just keep popping in the CD everytime I get in the car. I love the beat and love the songs. And I honestly mean that.
Katie - Billboard and Soundscan are the ultimate authorities on the music sales in the industry. According to them as of Monday, Identified sold just over 65,000 copies. Not sure why you are quoting a mail-order business as your source. It is not relevant. The “official” numbers are 65,000+
Also Amazon.com had several positive reviews for the album. Not sure what you are reading.

maybe because it was released in japan first and everybody started uploading download links on the internet before it even went out in the US. There are tons of people around the world still waiting for the album to come out in their country (that includes ME). Her songs are really good trust me.

#2 Boji.. So far no sign of Vanessa’s album here yet either. I’ve been trying to contact some nearest stores every now and then to make reservation but to no avail, it’s really a downer. As for HSM 3 I, think we will not have a problem seeing it late, as it might coincide with the showing from the states. It’s two months away and I can’t wait, people as well are excited to see it at the big screen.
Btw.. there is a ballet company here whose going to do a presentation based on HSM, Isn’t it cool. I wonder how are they going to characterized it.

And this time around they have Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens’ names as the singers on the official track list. Not Troy and Gabriella. If you look at the song titles on the first two CDs, they have the characters’ names as the singers, which means Disney got ALL the money from sales of the CDs.
Now, Zac, Vanessa and the other HSM3 cast will get money from sales of the sound track. Yeah!!!!

The soundtrack is being released on October 21st. Yeah. I’ll be first in line to get it.
I realize a lot of movies, including the new Harry Potter one, are being pushed back because of repercussions from the writers’ strike. 17 Again will be released in April and so will Rock On.
I’m very happy that MAOW is showing at the TIFF in September. And Zac will be there. Awesome. Hope it is picked up for world wide distribution.

I have to say this Hollywood Records is to blame for the non-distribution(Supply), forget about the marketing. Miley’s album debut at a later date but is already selling here a few weeks back. So sickening! I’m sure Countries in UK, Europe, South East Asia( excluding Japan), Africa, and Australia are having this problem and I live in the Capital city of one of the Asian Countries.

Charlene..NO, Assley cannot sing. She just got in HSM because she did a great job at being a ***** and a “diva”. Thank God she doesn’t have a lot of songs in HSM3 because everyones ears in the theater would start bleeding.

Chrissy you need to shut your mouth b/c Ashley has a TERRIFIC voice and she got in HSM b/c of her acting and singing ok it couldnt stand with just one alone. i am a great actress but i know i would never get in to hsm b/c im not up to par with singing and dancing so you need all the package and also she would never have got a recording contract if she couldnt sing you ****** and stop insulting her shjes the sweetest girl on the planet and hsm is not only just about troy and gabi there are 67 main cgharcahters and thankfully in the 2nd movie it focused more around those other charchaters instead of just the troyella fluff
Ashley plays a great part in HSM and people should stop insulting her everybody is entitledtotheir opinion I know but there isno need to be nasty about someone you don’t know.
To me HSM is about Troy and Gabriella after all that’s what started the movie so it seems logical that they would have a bigger part in HSM3, after all 2 was setin Sharpay’s worldbut now their back at East High, I can’t wait for the film to come out and so far love the songs I’ve heard especially T & G.

charlene, there are LEAD characters in all plays, movies, etc. Then there are SUPPORTING characters. They are a part of the storyline, but the plot always revolves around the LEADS. Why do you think the Oscars have awards for LEAD actors and separate ones for SUPPORTING actors???? There are NOT 67 main characters in HSM. There are probably 67 PARTS. The screen time for supporting roles and other bit parts is NOT going to be nearly what it is for the LEAD actors. That’s just the way it is, always has been, always will be.
Ashley is NOT the lead female in the HSM movies. She is a SUPPORTING character. In her last DCOM, she was THE LEAD. If you noticed, the entire movie revolved around HER. Do you see the difference??? No matter how you complain about “too much Troyella” (ugh, hate that term), the story IS about Troy and Gabriella.
Ashley is a talent and will have other movies where SHe is the lead. Don’t worry….she’ll have her time. But HSM 3 won’t be it.
I’m sure Zac did have to work to keep up with Corbin, Karen. From what I have heard though, Zac has come a long way in the dance dept. Good for him. He seems like the type that works on something until he gets it just perfect. He has lots of perseverance, which is what one needs in his line of work.

Yes, Cindy, I thing Zac has a perfectionist type personality and “competes” with himself more than anyone else. LOL He strives to do do things a certain way and likes to fee he earned an “excellent” grade when attempting to do something. It’s like on the bonus section of the HSM2 DVD where it shows him rehearsing for Bet On It and at one point he tells Kenny “I can get it perfect”. He was bound, bent, and determined for his own peace of mind to do it exactly the way Kenny was asking it to be done and he wasn’t going to be satisfied with the results until he had it perfect in his mind. And I have always thought even though it might take extra work for Zac when it comes to dancing—he has said it was hard for him as he was not a dancer—that he moves well and looks good when the finished product comes out. You would never know he wasn’t a dancer. But when I watch those extras on the HSM2 DVD and see how hard he works—how hard they all work— when it comes to these dance routines, I always appreciate the finish product that much more. They all definitely deserve a lot of praise for their dedication.

#139 I know I’m butting my head against the wall on this but to complain that HSM3 is focusing too much on Troy and Gabriella is ridiicuous because the entire francise has been about them for the beginning they are the LEADS. Who had the very scene in the first movie? Troy and Gabriella. What characters were the focus of the last scenes before credits rolled? Troy and Gabriella?
At the end of “What Time Is It? at the start of HSM2 what characters was the focus put on? Troy and Gabriella. What characters were the most effected by Sharpay’s machinations? Troy and Gabriella. Yes there was some focus put on the stran Troy’s behavior was having on his friendship with Chad which was important but the main focus was that it was costing him Gabriella. That was what started to bring him back to his senses.
All I’ve got to say is you’re going to be very disappointed when the first and last scenes of “HSM3″ focus on Troy and Gabriella. Yes the SUPPORTING characters are absolutely essential to the francise’s incredible success. But lthe story has ALWAYS from the very beginning been primarily to Troy and Gabriella.
I agree yellow. I mean Ash is a good actress but not a great singer. Leave that to Vanessa. But other than that all of the HSM cast mates are very talented.
I have to agree that Vanessa has a better singing voice! She has more quality to her voice, it’s more melodic, and has better range. Ashley has a good voice, but it’s different, and is better with rock-pop songs, like Miley.
That being said, they both sing their songs well, and the songs are suited to their individual voices.

I totally agree. I saw that clip about making “Bet on it” and Zac did try until he got it just right. He was also like that with 17 Again. He wasn’t quite happy with his basketball skills so he worked on them before the movie was shot . Remember the paps shots when they gave him the flowers? Lame much! Ha! Anyhow , I think they are all good at what they do and Kenny isn’t about to let too much slide in the way of performing. Good training for their next projects is all I can say. They have worked with one of the best; hope they get an emmy. Lord knows they deserve it.

The only bad thing is they won’t be eligible for an Emmy since those awards are for TV and HSM3 is a theatrical release. So, that would mean they would have to go for an Oscar which will be harder. It would be great to win a nomination for an Oscar though. But the academy doesn’t pay much notice to comedies and even less for musicals. But maybe this time the trend could be different. BUT maybe they would have a good chance of winning a People’s Choice or Golden Globe as they are a lot more daring and aren’t afraid of looking less high-brow as the Oscars.

HSM3 is possible getting nominated for People Choice, Golden Globe, and SAG awards. I heard Oscar is really really hard to get nominated. I also heard that if the movie or actors win the Golden Globe, then it will be nominated for the Oscar. I hoping that HSM3 will have that opportunity.
HSM2 has 2 nominations for emmy in Best Children Program and Best choreography in a musical. In Best Children Program, HSM2 is going up against Hannah Montana, Suite Life, Zoey 101, Drake & Josh, & Wizard in Waverly Place (?).

I want you to tell me how Chad or Taylor figured into HSM2 in anyway but a support for either Troy or Gabriella. ANYTIME we saw either of them it was connected with Troy’s changing personality or Troy and Gabriella’s relationship. The most we found out about anyone else was that Taylor has an older sister. Everything said and done was to further the story of Troy and Gabriella. Even Sharpay and Ryan—even though the story took place on their “territory” was to tell a another element of Troy and Gabriella’s love for each other and how it affected their friends and how it made everyone grow in some way as friends. We saw how Sharpay got what was coming to her for all her underhandedness in regards to Troy and Gabriella and the wildcats. We saw how Ryan because his own person because of his bonding with the wildcats who were all in the situation they were in because of Troy—they got their jobs and were on Ryan and Sharpay’s turf because of him. We already knew Ryan and Sharpay were rich spoiled kids so we didn’t even learn anything new about them. We learned nothing about Chad except as to how he and Troy were fairing under the stress Troy was under.
They all did a wonderful job. Not a clunker in the bunch. They are all talented in acting, singing, and dancing by the time it was all said and done. We couldn’t have had a movie without all of them. But it still wasn’t a story about Sharpay or any of the others. It centered on Troy and Gabriella. There was no big story or plot centered around any of the others.
Just look at the movie Picture This where Ashley was the lead. The movie was all about Ashley. Everyone else was supporting her story. No matter how big the other people’s roles were, they were supporting what Ashley’s character was doing in that movie so they were not leads in it.
Thanks, fan. I had no idea that HSM2 was still eligible for anything. It would seem like it would get both categories hands down as it is so much more elaborate than anything it is going up against and clearly the better show. But after watching awards for so many years, I have found these things have a lot of “behind the scenes politics” going on. Our great actors in HSM2 are clearly growing up and sometimes I think it is about promoting someone else which might mean Hannah Montana is going to be looked at more closely. I can’t imagine Zoey 101 having a chance and really Drake and Josh are not that much of a standout. Of course you do have Selena Gomez in Wizards of Waverly Place in the position of “up&coming” so she may pose a thread. BUT considering HSM2 had the highest rated viewing of all time on in a cable movie, then it clearly should be the winner. However, voters sometimes have a hidden agenda.

I read all your post comments regarding our fave celebrities of HSM casts. I just wanted to let you know how your comments are very refreshing, logical, intelligence, mature understanding, and very supportive to all the HSM casts.
I agree with you on the Emmy that it might be some politics involved in selecting the winner. I can say that HSM2 will probably win the Best Choreography in a Musical with no problem. For Best Children Program, it maybe that the Emmy might be pushing Hannah Montana or Wizard in Waverly Place because it is regular TV program that comes on daily or weekly. Which politics play in that hand.
Charlene, for your sake, I really hope that Ashley Tisdale will be back doing HSM4 reprising her role as Sharpay with the new HSM cast members, then she will be the star and lead role for HSM4, HSM5, etc. Zac, Vanessa, Corbin, Lucas, and Mo are not coming back to do HSM4 or any more HSM movie after HSM3, they will move on from HSM.
After HSM3, Zac and Vanessa are moving on to do more bigger and more serious movie roles than High School roles or musical roles.
Now Ashley, by herself, could come back to do HSM4, and there she will have the starting lead role as Sharpay. That will stop you from complaining. Some fans will probably stop watching it, and some will just wait and see how it is going to be without Zac and Vanessa.

Thank you so much for the compliment. It was very kind. I do truly believe the cast of HSM is one of a kind. They bonded and blended perfectly and I hope they all stay as close as they are now and that no petty jealousies ever pull them apart.
The one person who deserves much more attention is Lucas Grabeel. He is truly gifted in many way and all he wanted to do—as he has said in interviews—is to do his best. To me, although I like Ashley and think her great gift is in the area of comedy—I still say Lucas has it all over her. I was disappointed in the new song that was released “I Want It All” where it was suppose to be Ashley and Lucas being featured. The song was fine to further the story for the movie but wasn’t that great of a song—not like Now or Never which I can never get out of my head after hearing it—and although it has Lucas singing, he is too much in the background except for a little snippet. He is clearly the better singer over Ashley. And he also proved himself from the first two movies to have an genuine talent for dance even though he had never done it before. I love Zac and Vanessa and will be watching HSM3 mostly for them. But I will be really routing for Lucas to be showcased even more than he has been in the first 2 movies. Plus, several months ago I had written on one of the threads my fondest wish would be to see Lucas be paired up with Kelsi and it looks like maybe I am going to get my wish there—I can only hope! LOL
Sharpay, Chad, Ryan, and Taylor ARE supporting roles. Charlene, it doesn’t mean we don’t LIKE them; it’s just the parts they have in the movie. Zac and Gabriella were the LEAD roles in these movies. The plot will revolve around them. Did you read post #166?? That’s the synopsis of the movie. What the plot will be. It’s NOT going to be the Sharpay show. As much as I like her, it’s not. Just so you’re not too disappointed.
#166 As always very well said Karen. And I would just to add that that the context in which we find out that Taylor had an older sister is when she was giving Gabriella dating advice. So even that small revelation was in essence all about Troy and Gabriella. LOL
I think that why Charlene is so insistent on this is because she simply likes some of the other characters better. It’s like I’ve said before I personally prefer Han Solo to Luke Skywalker (although I do like Luke don’t get me wrong) but thzt doesn’t change the fact that the orignal “Star Wars” trilogy is Luke’s story.
Just like prefering other characters in the “HSM” francise doesn’t change the fact that it is first and foremost the story of Troy and Gabriella.
There’s also a reason why Zac and Vanessa were there filming several days longer than any other cast members. I also wonder if after the filming started they came up with a few more scenes for the characters of Troy an Gabriella. And I also wonder if it was one of those situations where the producers and director wanted the ending to be sort of a secret even from the other cast members so it wouldn’t slip out before the movie was released. I think it is going to be wonderful and all the cast will have a significant part. From the previews we have already seen it looks like Martha is now a cheerleader which I think is so great. Here we have the girl who is heavier than the average cheerleader in most school but they have shown us how very beautiful she is and how well she moves in her dancing—she is also a natural dancer and Kenny Ortega is said to have picked her in the first place because she was different. I like that. And people who have seen her onset and also have met her say she is as sweet as can be. So, go Kaycee!

We’ve had this debate in previous threads and you started up something on the Vanashbrenique Site so much so that one of the members had to post a blog dedicated to this issue of too much Troyella and not enough Sharpei which is getting too ridiculous to pursue. If you don’t get it by now, you’ll never get it, period.

Karen, yup Kenny picked Vanessa and paired her with Zac because she had that IT factor. Zac was already quite well known for his Summerland series but Vanessa must have had something special because there were others who were more experienced and had more exposure than she had.
I do notice something about Disney unlike other big production Companies. Disney attempts to give actors of minority races equal opportunities and not type cast them or am I wrong here?

You asked how the other wildcats besoides troy and gabreilla were featured in hsm2 while i will tell you. I cant believe you all watched this movie and do not realize it. How silly. Anyway here goes. We saw a lot of devolpment and infdormation regarding Chad,Ryan and Sharpay. I’ll start with Chad-he showed that what his friend was doing hurt him and he wasnt going to stand for it, hence the fight he was sticking up for what he believes in. He also formed a friendship with Ryan which i think was really cool. He is his own person not just as a friend to troy which you shoudl know if you had seen the movie. It showed how ryan was hurt by his sisters actions, that she would choose a guy over him. It showed how he wasnt going to take it anymore. It showed him sticking up for himself and stepping out of his sisters shadow. It showed him forming a friendship with chad and the wildcats and helping to fix things even going against his sister to do so. It showed hes more than his sisters poodle. Now as or Sharpay this should be obvious but i will go in to detail anyway. It obviously showed her attempts to steal troy. But what you all are not looking at is that it also showed Sharpay had feelings. When Shar was talking to ryan after she just got finished seeing him practice a routine with the wildcats and she confronted him and they had that little argument when ryan left she had to practically hold back the tears. you cuodl clearly see she was upset that her brother was turning on her. Than after troy told her he woudlnt sing with her she showed desperation and than clearly was upset when he refused as she really liked him. Than ryan turned his back on her even further and she was reduced to tears. you may say she desrved it but it definitly showed charachter deveopment which we had never seen before she even told troy that she liked him better than she liked herself. she has feelings to guys. shes not just the mean girl. she has feelings. and i feel for her. I do believe that Lucas Grabeel does deserve much more attention than he gets i meanb he is in a lot of movies and he is a great talent but you hardly ever hear his name infact sometimes when talking about hsm they even leave him out and i find that wrong and as much as i love LUcas’s vpooice he is not better than Asdhley maybe jsut as good but not better. I love them both. hes my second fav by far. Loved the photo’s of Vanessa and really liked what she was wearing she lok’s a bit tired which is understandable as much as she’s obvioulsy enjoying herself from various clips on the net I dare say she’ll be glad to have a bit of a rest before all the press work begins for HSM3 once she has done her last concert which on one site is the 30th August then she has a week’s break and just one concert on the 9th September.
Opening for Bedingfield was “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens.
She was supported by six dancers but no band, instead singing to pre-recorded music.
With as much dancing as she does, it would be easy for Hudgens to fall into the trap of lip-syncing live performances. But when a colleague recently interviewed her, Hudgens mentioned several times that she sings live at her shows.
While her voice is looped onto the tracks to provide harmony and depth, Hudgens did indeed sing Saturday night.
The 19-year-old sang “Say OK,” “Let Go” and “Never Underestimate a Girl,” among other songs.
Hudgens’ 55-minute performance seemed good, or at least good enough, until Bedingfield exploded onto the stage with “Piece of Your Heart.”
The audience around the stage consisted mostly of pre-teen and young teenage girls. During Hudgens’ set, the kids seemed to be most animated when the dancers would throw glow necklaces and pink tank tops into the crowd.
You know that Ashley Tisdale is the starring role in “Picture This”, the upcoming “They Came From Upstair”, and yet to start filming “Teen Witch”. She has the leading roles in those movies. She is a good actress and has gained starring/leading roles in other movies.
In the movie Thirteen and Thunderbird, Vanessa has supporting roles as Noel and Tintin in these two movies. As Noel and Tintin, Vanessa did great in those two roles. In Thirteen is about Noel’s friend getting involved with popular group girls that gets into drugs and sex. In the movie Thunderbird, the movie surround its story about the Allan Tracy wanted to join his family as part of the Thunderbird. In Rock On (Will), Vanessa took on a supporting role “Sa5m”, which is not the starring role. Aly has the starring role in that movie. However, Vanessa’s supporting role as “Sa5m” did ended up with the “Will”. Which I am looking forward to see Vanessa in that movie. Even though, Vanessa is not a starring roles in these three movies, I still enjoy watching her in those movies. I will continue to follow Vanessa’s works in her future films, movies, and TV programs.
In Hairspray, it has Nikki Blonski and John Travolti. Zac’s name was the 3rd wheel in that name. The movie was basically about a girl name Tracy and her family.
Charlene, what most of us fans here are stating that Ashley Tisdale has many starring roles in other movies. Vanessa has take supporting roles before, and she will probably continue to take on some more supporting roles in future movies. Vanessa will also get starring roles in other future movies as well. Both Ashley and Vanessa are good actors, and the two are considered as favorites to many of us fans here.
As for these celebrities post, after HSM3, they will be posting Vanessa’s future films, movies, and other projects. The fans will post comments on her future projects. As for the original casts of HSM, they all will be doing separate projects on their own.
It is too bad that you fail to understand the production of filming and movie industries. Some movies uses supporting actor’s name to draw people and fans to buy tickets to see that movies. Like in Vanessa’s upcoming movie “Rock On (Will)”, they are featuring Vanessa’s name because she is well known. In Hairspray, they used Zac’s name. In these two movies, the plots and story lines are about Will and Tracy.
Charlene, you need to analyze your mind in what you are most interested in the plot and story line of HSM or fan of Ashley Tisdale. We all know that you are fan of Ashley, and you want her to shine. She is shining brighter than before. Look at all her works in Suite Life Zack & Cody, Picture This, Degree Girls, her CD, upcoming movie They Came From Upstair, many more to come.
Most of us fans are stating that HSM’s story and plot are boy meet girl, boy fall in love with girl, boy gets girl, and boy and girl relationship that summed up as Troy and Gabriella, which are the two main characters starring Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.
sweet that zac is spending some time with vanessa on her tour. he’s gotta be the best, most supportive boyfriend ever.
Hudgens, the headliner, mostly kicked up her heels (and those of her talented dancing crew) with jingly exhortations to dance. “I’m tired of all the boys who don’t like to dance,” she sang in “Hook It Up.” “And if you don’t like to dance, you don’t stand a chance.”
Fast-paced angular rock was Hudgens’ strong suit — and she was most effective when singing pledges of love and break-up songs. But when she sang the quasi-feminist anthem “Never Underestimate A Girl,” it was hard to tell whether she’d suddenly embraced subtle ironies or had simply uncovered a silly piece culled from an old musical comedy.
Here, she argued that a woman who knows how to wield her lipstick is pretty darned formidable — and warned the boys to “watch out, your secretary might wind up your boss, whether you really like it or not.”

#!83 How much time was actually devoted to Chad and Ryan’s newly formed friendship Charlene? It was all covered in the “I Don’t Dance” sequence, they were in no scenes together until the end and it was never referenced again. I would hardly even call that a subplot. Everything else you pointed out illustrates why Chad is a SUPPORTING character and not lead.
I’m not posting on this anymore because it’s pointless. Troy and Gabriella ARE the leads. Deal with it.

All I can say, if you are a fan to Ashley, which she is a SUPPORTING role in the movie, you have two choices as a supporting fan: 1) You can go see the movie in theater, which you have to pay $8 to $15 to get in; or 2) Wait until it comes out on DVD, then you can go to Blockbuster or Hollowood Rental and rent the DVD for $3 to $5.
But if you just enjoy HSM the movie itself…then it doesn’t really matters who has the starring lead roles and supporting roles. Just watch and enjoy the final chapter of the Wild Cats in HSM3.
Some of the fans love the first HSM1 more than HSM2. And some fans like HSM2 more than HSM1. However, both movies are still good and enjoyable, and most fans watched to see their favorite stars in these two movies regardless of who has the starring lead role. In HSM2, I focus more on Troy and Gabriella’s scene than another scene, but I did enjoy the movie and still good.
I sure in HSM3, there will be fans focusing more on their favorite stars too. And those fans will come and watch the movie. Also, people have their favorite scenes of the movie, too.

There is a new HSM3 thread up but it doesn’t seem to be posted to the Zac or Vanessa link in JJ’s yellow box yet. You have to go over to the right side of the 25 newest threads to access it.

1)if you consider chad,taylor,ryan and sharpay supporting c harachters than what do you consider kelsi,jason,zeke and martha? they are the supporting charachters and i went threw all that trouble to explain to you how it went deeper in to each of their personalities but apparently you dont care. you just want it to be all about troy and gabi thats what it is. You want it to be like the first 1 and it wasnt so thats why you say this. They are definitly main charachters no ifs, ands or butts and honestly this isnt evena bout my love for ashley ok i know she is the lead in other movies and i care about that but right now i want to see a lot of Sharpay thats my fav role that she played which brings me to my next point
2)fan you think that I want ashley to have a lot of screen time because u l love ashley but no thats not it all all. the reason i want lots of screen time is b/c i absolutly LOVE Sharpay. Infact I didnt start liking ashley until after i saw the movie. i vaqually remembered her from hthe suite life but that was it. than after i saw hsm1 and loved ashleys charachter thats when i became a huge fan of ashley-not the other way around. and than i met her that feb and saw how nice she was and became an even bigger fan of that is possible and i know they are technicaly the same person but i recognize them as two differnt people 1)who is sweet nice kind and caring and 2)who is a fictional; charachter who is a villian but does have feelings

mmm, i’m really excited to see this movie. honestly, i wasn’t all that hooked at first on the first HSM. but once i was, there was no stop. then came the highly anticipated HSM2 which i say lived up to every expectation :)
and now this! yay, i’m just so excited to see this! i love the song that zac & vanessa sing together. it sounds so romantic and to hear just that little bit of it, you can honestly start to think that maybe it’s part of a really big scene that you can’t help but imagine in your head :)

A “major” role in a movie is different than the STARRING role in a movie… Then we have the secondary characters… Oh, it’s useless, I know.
And, Jared, why isn’t the new ” HSM3—new teaser trailer” thread showing up on the Zac or the Vanessa boards?
I have tried twice to post the link for the other HSM3 link that Jared has in his top 25 at the right of this page—as some poeple can’t get how to access it and Jared hasn’t posted it to Zac or Vanessa’s threads—but neither post has gone though. Jared, is there a reason for that?

charlene, yes, all those other characters are SUPPORTING roles. I’m afraid you are going to be very disappointed in HSM 3, because it does appear to be more about Troy and Gabriella, and facing life after high school.
Let’s just say it’s really stupid to be arguing all this. The script has been written, the movie has been filmed, and it’s all done. Wishing for Sharpay to have more screen time isn’t going to make it happen, cause it’s done. It’s not like Disney will hear you and change it to the Sharpay show. We’re really arguing a moot point here.
So let’s just drop it, Ok? We all like Ashley too, and she has had starring roles and will have many more!! It’s just not HSM1, 2, or 3. But, you know, it wouldn’t be the same without her!!!
