As for Brad, I don’t think she ever really loved him. Maybe she just wasn’t capable of real love at the time. I think he was just this great catch that she had to have. That’s why I think she has been so bitter and ungracious. I can only imagine what people in Hollywood think of her not uttering one word of congratulations to her ex-husband on him becoming a father - twice now. I have asked myself why women repeatedly make bad choices in men and have arrived at a few conclusions.

1, At the core of the revolving door with unsuitable men is an inferiority complex. Women go into these relationships not feeling good about themselves and believing ,whether they acknowledge it consciously or not, that they don’t deserve better.

2. Fear of commitment. It’s easy to jump from man to man when there isn’t a chance that they will demand more from you than you are willing to give. The root of that fear is being unable to go for what you really want because that would mean opening oneself up to possible future hurt.

3. Some women become comfortable in their misery. It’s something they know and can point to as a reason for their inability to move forward. They have a right to be miserable because they were done wrong. No one close to them blames them if the relationships don’t work because they ‘understand’ why she can’t open up. Being a victim has it’s perks.

4. Friends and family become enablers. They feel sorry for the poor woman. They confirm her belief that the other person is always the problem.

5. No matter how much you go to a Shrink or seek Psychic advice, you still have to look yourself in the face and say ‘what is wrong with ME’, not point the finger at someone else. You can’t fix other people, you can only fix yourself. Some people never get that.

6. Some women carry a torch that other men can see a mile away. Those men who want a serious relationship have enough sense to say away. The ones who are left don’t care. they’ll be gone soon enough with no emotional strings on their part.

So how does one break the vicious cycle of unsuitable men?

1. KNOW YOURSELF. Not your image, not who you wish you were, but who you are. You can’t affect change otherwise. That might mean taking yourself far far from the madding crowd for a while.

2. Be your own best friend. If it takes looking in that mirror every day and saying, I deserve all the good things in life , do it. Get rid of all the negative talk in your head.

3. Know what you want. Not what people say you should want, but what you actually want. If you have a fairytale image of yourself, you need to get over it. Life is not a fairytale.

4. Let go of the past. This one should be number one. If you keep looking back you can’t see where you’re going.

5. Prioritize. Don’t expect things to fall into your lap, you need to plan how you are going to achieve your goals.

I feel sorry for Brad that this albatross is wrapped around his neck by her PR queen Huvane at every opportunity - they have to keep the TV sit-com hack’s connection to the MOVIE STAR alive…even if it’s as a sad pathetic ‘victim’ looking for love..and spinning these ‘happiness is the best revenge (on Brad)’ tabloid stories (who btw, doesn’t know she’s alive - lol ) whenever she HIRES a new faux-mantic partner.

This is her second career. Her TV hey day is over, and at 40, her PR manufactured love life and her own tabloid-ready victimization with it’s not so subtle ‘blame Brad & Angelina Always’ tone is all she’s got.

So she and Huvane work it.

…and in doing so she makes of herself the saddest most pathetic reality star ever.

I just had a thought. It is funny that they break up in the middle of August 3 or 4 weeks before the Toronto Film Festival. The reason I say this is because her canned movie will be opening there to try and beg for financing, and one of Brad films will be shown there (I thing Burning After Reading) which will be coming out in September. This has once again Huvane all over it to start the Jennifer running into Brad/Angelina drama again.

The sad thing is that her fans will believe and yet the films will probably be showing on different dates and/or at different venues.

Just wait and see. Just like we smelled this pr relationship of Jennifer’s to offset Brad & Angie’s new additions.

She really need to find something else to do with her life because she is in this battle all by herself and Brad is not even at the least bit studying her ass, as well as Angelina.

Now, LOSIEs come on the JP threads - even old ones, but they don’t do it to have a laugh because, really what is there to laugh at?. the JP’s are doing good in their lives, having the family they dreamt of, having great movies coming out, taking the kids out doing ordinary normal things that parents do with kids and LOSIEs come to denigrate them, tell lies about them, but they can’t really laugh at them.

It’s always interesting to consider how celebrity-relationship news leaks. Often, it’s a photo that does the talking (Balthazar Getty and Sienna Miller, anyone?).

But in the case of Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer’s recent break-up, it was Aniston’s camp - casting the net for potential suitors - that caused the leak.

“I got a call from someone very, very close to Jen over the weekend, asking if I knew anyone who might want to go out on a date with her,” says one industry insider. “They weren’t being very discreet about it - the news hadn’t even broken yet that she and John split. You’d think of all people, Jen Aniston wouldn’t need to use people in her camp as a dating service.”

The question of JustJared is “WHAT DO YOU THINK happened — John dumped Jen or Jen dumped John?”

Very interesting question. Who dumped whom is not just a simple question answerable of just stating a name. Sometimes you have to look at the intent or motive of the two persons involved. A guy who badly needs to get rid of his girlfriend (for whatever reasons) will or can do or say wrong things intentionally in order to give justification for the woman to dump him even at the expense of destroying his image. Meaning, John may have wanted to get out on his relationship with Jen but he wanted her to initiate or do the dumping. What would be his motive? Well, he might have wanted to take a different approach this time,or to lessen the impact (hurt) instead of him doing the dumping as he used to do before. On the other hand, if the man dumped the woman, it could also because the woman wanted to get out their relationship, thus only giving him enough excuse to do the initiative when in actuality, the woman wants to be free. This scenario may likely happened if indeed their romance is not PR stunt or manufactured, scripted romance.

Now, in as much as this is about John-Jen, I can’t help but mentioned Brad for the reason that there was also some speculation during Brad-Jen separation before, about “Who dumped whom?” issue. It’s said that Jen filed for divorce but it was really Brad who dumped her. That Brad was only gentleman enough to make it appear to the media or public that it was Jen who wanted to separate from him. Brad wanted to save Jen’s face by doing this. However, generally, it is believed & perceived, in reality it was Brad who really dumped her and that even gave Jen the ultimatum to file the divorce at once or else he will do otherwise. It’s also said that Jen wanted to delay filing the divorce to maybe give hope to their marriage.

For me, it doesn’t matter if it’s the man or the woman who do the dumping because i believe that if one party doesn’t want to continue the relationship, he or she is entitled to do so, whether the reason is right of wrong. In the first place, having a relationship is a decision without force, so if one party decides to sever it in the future, well, that’s a decision to be respected.

What happened is that the whole “celebrity” thing went to her head. She took it literally to heart, and most of all, she took Brad for granted. And when he decided to move on, she tried to destroy him. That is why fans of the JPs loathe her. Other women has gone through similar situations, and handled it with “grace under pressure”. Think Nicole Kidman, whose situation was even worse, if you believe the rumours at the time. Apparently Tom just announced that he wanted a divorce, and immediately was seen squiring Penelope around town.
So Aniston needs to give it up, and stop manufacturing PR for attention. She will never be in the same stratosphere as the JPs.

Since the statement was in quotation marks I assume that they are her words . If they are her words then she is more pathetic than I could have even imagined . time with herself
We now know the reason why Jennifer Aniston ended her relationship with John Mayer. Aniston tells Dateline Hollywood she called it quits with Mayer so she could spend more quality time with herself. Here’s what she tells us:

i just noticed why is jen looking direct to the camera as if is she’s smiling a bit?….in these recent photos……….i used to see her being shy or trying to elude cameras or had a security blanket. these ones seems like she’s high ,proud and confident. it’s like she don’t care wht people will say or think about her …..or could be just a pretense?……but she looks being tht way and i like her hair pony -up it makes her look different a bit. she has a nice skin even though,she smokes a lot and a good well-toned body.

Jennifer Aniston and her rocker boyfriend John Mayer went through a rough patch in their relationship around the time her ex beau Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie had twins.

The former Friends star turned 40 in February and she is not happy with the way Pitt’s family keeps expanding. And Aniston’s relationship with Mayer is said to be over but it seems the couple wants to make it happen somehow, according to reports.

A friend said: “They have hit a difficult patch but are still together. Things have been a bit rocky for them but he hasn’t dumped her. The birth of the Brangelina twins has got her down. It has made her question where she should be in life at her age.”

Friends claim that Aniston has been more demanding recently and Mayer wants more space.

When OK! caught up with John Mayer in NYC on Saturday, not only did the singer admit that he and Jennifer Aniston are no longer together — the normally obtuse star actually spoke openly about the split.

“It’s the most normal thing in the world,” John says. “There’s no lying there’s no cheating. There’s no nothing.”

John also had nothing but the kindest words for his ex. “Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I’ve ever met,” he explained. “She’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met in my life.”

So what went wrong? “People have different chemistry, they have different lives,” says John. “It’s not about years, it’s about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out. You’re either a cheater or you break up and I’m not the first, I’m the second. And that’s it. There’s no lying, there’s no bullsh**.”

And according to John, it was him that called a halt to their romance. “I ended a relationship because there was no lying,” he explained to OK!. “I ended a relationship to be alone because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right. I don’t waste people’s time. I don’t do the taper. I guarantee you there’s 20 percent of the people on the street right now who are in a relationship they wish they could get out of but they don’t know how. And I’m going to be honest on the way in to my relationships and I’m going to be honest on the way out of my relationships.”

“I’m sorry that the story’s not interesting,” John tells OK!. “But it’s about time that somebody stands up for that girl and I think she’s great.”

As for the news that Jen has already moved on and begun seeing another man, John shrugged, “I don’t care.”

Hello Rien - am still in Sevilla, Spain, roving the Continent with my dog, BamBam - from London to most of France, entered Spain via Barcelona. Europe is truly unbelievable, and ‘am lost for words. Except for the Ferry, crossing the Channel, I have been driving a 2009 Land Rover Hybrid, lent by my godmom. Gas prices to the roof, but am saved by a hybrid.

Had very brief stay in big cities - London, Paris, the French Riviera - Nice to Monaco, then back to Marseilles. Night life never ends in these parts of the world. I met my brother in Nice, travelling on business.

The men……… oh lala lala - from Englishman Dean, to Frenchman LaCroix, to Spaniard Requerdo. Kinda bittersweet to say goodbye. I’ve always been a pragmatist, and a realist - that is, live, laugh and love for the moment, knowing these friendships may not see the dawn past Friday. Along the way, I gained friends, and believe that friendship travels through time and space.

‘best part of my travel are those with common folks, historic villages, castles in the sky, grandeurs of museums, monasteries, abbeys, towers, never ending fields of sunflowers and lavander fields, old villas, libraries, cathedrals, vineyards, lagoons, windmills, gardens, public markets and antique shops - untouched by time and civilization ! No shortage of inspirations for Cezzane, Degas, Dumas, Balzac, Genet, Cervantes et al. Libraries with their works are national treasures !

And the FOOD from different regions - OMG !

‘ had a wacky adventures too - slept briefly on lavander fields, tried to pull them when I got caught by a monk, later was invited to join them for supper. ‘got pulled over 2x @ the French Riviera missed my turns, tried to back up when whoa !!!!!!!! police siren, then got lost many times; 1 for speeding @ route 80 towardsToulouse, and the very lastest, 1 in Bacelona -the streets are confusing, and another time for stopping off the road to take pictures creating a traffic jam ! Thank god, the “policia” were nice and understanding. i recite this: excúsame Sr. policeman, pero me pierden, y mis GPS no están trabajando - my best spanglish, but it works and I get pass !

‘finally found a long forgotten friend - Maria Milagros Santamaria, Spaniard. ‘met her for the first time 16 years ago at Girls Scout World Jamboree, I was 10, she was 12, then 5 years later, in 1997 @ GS Jam in Canada. She is now a lawyer, and teaches Tort @ Sevilla de Universidad - 2 inches taller than me, and but exotic like Penelope Cruz. We went through our GS journals, scrap books, faded pictures, the camp, competing in bow and arrow contest - 2 kids in GS uniforms - too funny how skinny and gawky we looked then. ………memories…. what memories !!! She’s now a lawyer, and ‘am a surgeon. Not bad for 2 thin gawky GS kids !

Mila and I went club hopping, danced and flirted all night long, getting silly and met Laurencio Madrigal! His eyes were sad and haunting. We slow danced - lost my heart last night. Today, Laurencio Madrigal is just another dream…another page in my scrap book. For that brief moment, million stars were shinning so bright !

Today we’re going shopping then dinner. Mila and I promised to make lasting friendship. I may never pass this way again. Memories are made of this………..

Tomorrow, I will cross the border to Portugal.

Hi there - never heard of Wendy Williams. I read the posts about her and relying on them, Williams may be a REFORMED HATER. Still, if I believed what were narrated herein this thread, you never know for sure where her allegiance really is.

If Williams history is true, so could swing one way or another, although for now, I wouldnt mind if she lashes X.

Sorry Rien, I have difficulty letting go of X and Huvane systematic campaign to destroy J-P. Now X is hurting again - making the same mistakes over and over again. This 3rd strike campaign by Huvane to save face, and Mayers contrarian view that he dumped her, only makes her even worse than pathetic. Hollywood’s is laughing and shaking their heads.
