OlderDavid Beckham: Olympics Closing Ceremony, Here I Come!
David Beckham, his wife Victoria and their three sons — Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3 — catch a departing flight out of LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday.
Next week, David (and maybe his family) will be flying off to China to participate in the closing ceremonies representing London — the next city to host the Summer Olympics in 2012.
“David is going to be in the surprise finale. They always have a segment to do the handover, to showcase the next city to host the Olympics,” a source tells People. “He was very involved in the London bid to get it, and as a Londoner he is incredibly proud that the Olympics will be in London. He is passionate about it and looking forward to the games in 2012.”
The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 24th at Beijing’s National Stadium.

I tell you what ever Victoria is doing she needs to keep it up. She is looking much more healthier now than she was a while back. Beck is hot as usual, and their children are adorable. I really like this family, they seem to be very closely knitted.
Leona Lewis will also be closing the Olympics alongside David Beckham. How cool!

You can tell that Beckham is physically strong by the way he holds up his son. Despite the weight, he stands perfectly straight–doesn’t even bend over slightly. It looks like he’s carrying something that weighs 5 pounds, not 35.

Gaaawwd…I find Victoria and David so incredibly annoying. They’re so media and spotlight hungry it’s disgusting. Also, can she please dress like a normal person for things like going to the airport and other daily life activities?? I am so proud of team GB!!!! I emigrated to Australia earlier this year and my god I have become all patriotic! Icing on the cake - David ‘god’ Beckham being there - he is just the most gorgeous man on earth and he’s a brit - how fab is that!!!!
