Katie Holmes: Sandals Saturday!
Katie Holmes is all smiles in a Clu T-shirt as she arrives at rehearsals in New York City on Saturday morning.
The 29-year-old actress brought back her favorite rolled-up denim, husband Tom Cruise’s Prps pegged jeans! She also accessorized with a new pair Balenciaga braided shoes, vintage belt, Chloe handbag and Oliver Peoples “Sofiane” sunglasses.
Katie is really taking her Broadway debut seriously! Katie has been preparing for the Arthur Miller play All My Sons, also starring John Lithgow, Patrick Wilson and Dianne Wiest.

Oh for the love of Xenu. Those are NOT Tammy’s jeans. Katie is a good 3-4 inches taller than him; his actual jeans would fall to mid-calf on her.

Seriously, nobody cares about Katie Holmes. Why is she mentioned so much on this site?
Is anyone remotely interested in seeing pictures of Katie Holmes every single day! She is now rehearsing for an important Broadway part in one of the most challenging of Arthur Miller’s plays plus she is working with an enormously talented cast. I am sure that she would appreciate a little distance so that she can concentrate on her work and we would appreciate NOT seeing her every day on this site.

Oh wow! Photos of Katie Holmes. Imagine that. And she’s doing something different - going to acting lessons (aka rehearsals) in NYC. As a previous poster said, she’s been cast (I wonder how much Tommy paid for that) in an important play with a cast of seasoned professional stage actors. Katie needs all the help she can get to not embarrass the crap out of herself come opening night. How nice that every day she provides photo ops for the bored paparazzi in New York City.

Is the hair cut for the role in All My Sons? I have to admit I have loved her previous looks but this new one of hers just does NOT work for her. But…she’s in NY and everyone knows you can experiment more with fashion there. In LA no way! Everyone looks the same out there!

Well if I did, I know I’d look ten-thousand times better than “Kate”. She is a clone and has no personal sense of style.
Katie’s legs are much too thick anyway and she’s too tall, hence she merely looks like she’s wearing those long clown pants or MC Hammer parachute pants. A person needs to be shorter and thinner. The only thing that’s going for her, is that asslessness, which does slim her slightly.

Now, that’s funny. Poor castmates, they have to do what they can to keep their play from becoming another Katie Holmes joke.
Is she paying someone. I am so tired of seeing her and the constant commentary on what she is wearing. Katie is an also ran. She is famous only because of Tom. When she really accomplishes something on her own, then and only then will she deserve this kind of coverage. I will not post a comment again regarding her. I think it is crazy the way everyone goes crazy about her “style”. Tom probably hired someone to teach her how to dress. She did not have a “style” before she married him. She could have cut her hair any time to make a statement. She made no fashion changes until she married him, and got money. The same thing happened to Nicole. Tom likes it when she is in the magazines, and when people are talking about her. He gets off on it. Well I’m getting off the Katie train. Hope everyone else will as well. She is boooring, and needs to develop a back bone and be herself.

I think she looks very pretty and I love her new short haircut … and the sandals are darling. Everyone is way too mean to this family — they are bashed at every turn. Leave them alone and let them live their lives … how would we all feel if people wrote all this crap about us?!!

1) the play is “all my sons”, so maybe she’s trying to feel like aman for the play.
2)Tom wants a boy. Maybe, there is some scientology reason that a woman can conceive a boy if she’s almost wearing jeans during a long period of time. Who knows?

#62 anymous–she earned her right on broadway? Give me a break. She hasn’t done a damn thing yet to have earned it. She is the weakest cast member and she’d better be practicing her butt off or Lithgow, Patrick and Weist’s performances are going to so overshadow hers that she is going to be savaged by the NY theater critics.
#67 Roosevelt–the official word is that Katie didn’t want to go back to Batman, but unofficially they didn’t want her back. According to several blogs who have inside connections Katie and Tom’s antics were so insensitive to the promotion of the film, that they didn’t even ask her back. I believe this version. The two of them acted like immature idiots during the premiers of War of the World (and Spielberg has expressed his displeasure with Tom’s antics) and Batman. Tom is just now understanding that how far his public persona sunk and now is trying to ingratiate himself back into the public’s eye. Unfortunately so far it isn’t working. The paps may be flashing the flashes and taking those pics, but he isn’t making the covers of mags like he used to. He fell out of the Harris or Gallup top ten favorite performers the year he dumped Nicole Kidman and has been unable to get back in. In the USA TODAY weekly, monthly and yearly polls, he has dropped like a stone plus the public opinion of him is a very low 12 percent. He rarely gets in the top of any poll these days. He was number one on the power poll a few months ago, but most people thought that was a huge joke as his power in Hollywood has dimmed considerably.
He doesn’t realize that pimping out Katie and Suri is NOT working. It is backfiring. The comments on all the blogs are, for the most part, really negative. And a lot of it has to do with Robo-bride and their treatment of Suri-that is she looks distressed and unhapppy and they could care less as they use the photo ops for themselves.
How did she not earn it, #70? She auditioned and got the part hence she earned it.
I’d rather believe the actual words of Christopher Nolan and others rather than anonymous bloggers that supposedly have insider connections.
Spielberg has never said a negative thing about Cruise’s behavior.

he’s not pimping out his children- just one child- the one who draws the attention, the one everyone wants to see- and he knows it, so he arranges photo-ops, parades her in front of the paparazzi who yell her name and flash their cameras in her face, all so he can keep his face in the public eye. I call this shamelessly using his precious child for his own twisted need for ego stroking. And you wonder why some call this “pimping” out his child? What would you call it?
