Keely Shaye Smith is Bikini Bold
Pierce Brosnan’s wife, Keely Shaye Smith confidently shows off her bikini body while traipsing around a beach in Hawaii on Friday. The 55-year-old former James Bond star watched his 44-year-old wife from his lounge chair.
The Sun-Times had quite the unfavorable review of Pierce in his latest musical movie, Mamma Mia!: “Here’s a novel idea: When casting a major musical, how about recruiting performers who can actually sing? Hearing Pierce Brosnan trying to carry a tune in Mamma Mia! was painful. Unfortunately, his vocal contributions weren’t just limited to one song. Christine Baranski also was allowed to warble much more than she should have been, although her efforts were slightly less torturous than Brosnan’s.” Ouch!

I didnt know that about Pierce. i guess he couldnt leave her anyway what with his two young kids and all..the publicity would kill his career. But surely he lvoes her, ive seen them snuggle up on the red carpet. More so than the new Bond and his gf. Now they look cold together.

I say there are more obese fatties among them than blacks (especially since they outnumber blacks) and I’ve seen more petite, thin black women than “obese”. Stop trying to suck butt, they still think you’re the n-word and aren’t impressed that.

Good for her! She is not ashamed of body and obviously doesn’t care what anyone thinks. I admire her and wish that at 5′8 115 pounds, I had her confidence. It just goes to show you what a great guy her husband is and that he loves her for who she is not what some say she should look like. I wonder what the world would be like if this was the norm?
My brother just pointed it out to me that the beach looks pretty bare. Where are all the ppl? That’s not Malibu, but Hawaii, where they live. Could be a private area.

Make all the excuses you want but it’s called obesity folks. She just looks like 65% of the US population today who are overweight or obese, which is no excuse because neither is healthy or attractive.

Please stop revealing your ignorance — though I realize it is unfair to ask you to do the impossible. I have been Black longer than you have been alive, but I do not sugarcoat the truth. The figures on Black obesity (due in large part to diets historically high in fat) have been availble for years, though one is required to have the ability to READ in order to be privy to them. Stop thinking that anything negative said about Blacks is part of some grand conspiracy. Sometimes the truth is simply that — the truth.
The results of the CDC’s 2007 study on Obesity were published only last month, July 18, 2008, in MMWR Weekly. The CDC reports that, as of 2007, 25.6% of all respondents were clinically obese. Of that number, the HIGHEST prevalence rate was among “non-Hispanic black women” at 39%. The second highest prevalence was among “non-Hispanic black men” at 32.1%.
The truth may hurt, but it remains the truth.
Yes, being an enormous fat pig is beautiful and shows you’re not a mindless conformist and eating healthy and doing exercise is demeaning and insulting and degrading.
She’s not confident at all and ashamed, and she is trying to loose weight (not hard enough apparently) - I remember reading this in an interview with Brosnan. But as long as he doesn’t mind it ( and he assured her and the journalists that he didn’t), we have no business criticizing her. Would it be better if Brosnan left the mother of his children for a skiny model - what message would that be?! And as for the bikini, I don’t think the sight would be so much better in a one-piece, so it really doesn’t matter, imho.
It’s all fine and well to think it’s great for her to be happy with who she is, and i wouldn’t even comment on how she looks…but how about the fact that being that overweight is really unhealthy?? Other celebrities get so much crap for smoking, but it’s like as soon as a fatty puts on a bikini everyone wants to give her a high five for being “gutsy and courageous”…it’s not gutsy when you need triple bypass surgery because your arteries are clogged with cholesterol.
I hope Keely reads these posts, gets depressed and has a good cry, but then decides that this is the day that she finally decides to get a handle on her problems and become the great beauty that she was born to be. The truth hurts, but if it helps her bring herself higher, it’s worth it.
