America Ferrera - 2008 ALMA Awards
America Ferrera (in Diane von Furstenberg) is all smiles at the 2008 ALMA Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday in Pasadena, Calif.
The 24-year-old Ugly Betty star, who completed her look with Christian Louboutin peep-toes and Fred Leighton jewelry, took top honors at the ceremony. America won the Chevy Entertainer of the Year for her on-screen work as Betty Suarez and her off-screen efforts to encourage young people to get involved in the political process.
The ABC comedy series also picked up wins for directing and best performance by a Latino-led ensemble cast.

She’s lost a little weight, so her face looks longer and more defined, but I don’t see any signs of plastic surgery.
