OlderAmerica Ferrera Stands Up 2 Cancer
America Ferrera, wearing a Stand Up 2 Cancer t-shirt, gives two big thumbs up after receiving Emmy nomination news late last month on the set of Ugly Betty in Long Island City, New York.
The 22-year-old actress picked up a nomination for “Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series” for her role as braces-beauty Betty Suarez. The Emmys air live, September 21 on ABC.
Ugly Betty was also nominated for “Outstanding Art Direction For A Single-camera Series”, “Outstanding Casting For A Comedy Series”, “Outstanding Costumes For A Series”, “Outstanding Hairstyling For A Single-camera Series” and “Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series” (Vanessa Williams).
