Hugh Jackman: Ripped in Richmond
Hugh Jackman and his actress wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, return home with their son, Oscar, 8, after returning from a photo shoot for a men’s journal in Richmond (North-West of Sydney, Australia) on Sunday.
The 39-year-old actor will next be seen in the Baz Luhrmann’s WWII-era epic Australia, out Nov. 14. It stars fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman.
“It’s romantic, adventurous, and huge in scale,” Hugh has said. ”That’s what I love about Baz. His movies really are all about breaking society’s rules and love conquering all. Working with Nicole was beyond anything I could have imagined.”

Hugh is the best! Instead of hanging out at Hollywood parties he is spending time with his wife and kids. Lucky family. Can’t wait to see Australia & Wolverine.
Jac, where I differ is that it’s nobody’s damn business to question what their relationship may be based on. It is just not the concern of fan or non-fan. I, too, met both Hugh and Deb in NY during Hugh’s Broadway run, and had several conversations with them. I observed them together and I firmly believe their marriage is genuine. Yes, they are both actors, and Hugh is a very good one - but I don’t believe even Hugh is a good enough actor to have consistently “play-acted” the loving husband for 13 years. But back to my original point - it’s not business, it’s not your business, it’s not anybody’s business but the Jackmans. And they sure as heck look like a very happy couple.

I don’t buy this marriage either, but it doesn’t mean that Hugh and Deb aren’t good people or don’t have fun together.
Sad commentary on our society when what appears to be a happy marriage must be too good to be true.

Hugh is a public figure and we have every right to voice opinions about him. If he doesn’t like it, then he needs to change careers.
He’s very well aware of how it works. He said so himself. He’s an open person and talks about his personal life so why shouldn’t we. He’s lucky he’s being talked about at all. Interested fans are the reason he and any celebrity have the life they do.

I dated someone twenty years younger and it was the best relationship I ever had. The main thing was that we just “got” each other. That has nothing to do with age, and no one knows when that will come along and brighten our lives. We only broke up because I beame ill and could no longer maintain a relationship with anyone. He is still the love of my life.

Someone used my screen name and wrote that horrible comment on #33 posts. I can’t tell you how upset that makes me. I am the one who wrote the nice things in the #13 post. I would never write or say anything negative about Hugh, Deb or their adorable children and I would never say anything as crude as that name stealer said. I wish we were able to use only one name on this site and everyone would be made accountable for their words.

I absolutely love this couple.
I think Deborra-Lee Furness is beautiful inside and out. She has depth, personality and intelligence. She is not another plastic commodity, like we’re all used to seeing in Hollywood. She’s a real woman, keeping it real, and that’s why a lot of people admire her.
You’ve made Australia proud. Both of you!!!
