OlderJohn Mayer Spills Jennifer Aniston Break-Up Details
John Mayer stood up for his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston as he spoke to a group of photographers after working out at Equinox Gym in New York’s SoHo neighborhood. Here’s what the 30-year-old musician, who appeared emotional, nervous and sad, had to say to TMZ:
On why he broke up with Jen: “People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right. It’s not about years, it’s about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out.”
On his breakup being completely normal: “There’s no lying, there’s no cheating, there’s no nothing. I’m sorry that the story’s not interesting. But it’s about time that somebody stands up for that girl and I think she’s great.”
On setting the record clear about Jen: “If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody. Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I’ve ever met.”
On why relationships generally end: “You’re either a cheater or you breakup. And I’m not the first. I’m the second one. And that’s it. There’s no lying, there’s no bulls—, I just don’t want to be followed around New York City like an animal.”
On singing the praises of Aniston: “She’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met in my life and I’m going through something that’s a very personal thing and you have to give that up. You have to give everything up because you can’t have it all and it sucks.”

whatever Jen did then you right you can’t compare.. But even with the vanity fair article i would’ve done the same. Jen did nothing at all wrong.
I thought a separation to give yourself some time alone, whats going on with your life with your spouse, discuss things communicate try to make things work out. I know when you file for divorce it’s definitely over. No one would ever humiliate me.but my garbage no one would not have known about it. Brad humiliated embarrassed his wife in front of the whole world. I do wish them all happiness, and especially Jen its well deserved

Maniston’s fans are so dumb. They think when Gayer called her “the most sophisticated person,” he was talking Chanel suits and cigarette holders, pinkie extended. Ahahahahaha! He was actually talking “sophisticated,” in the ways of relationships and media & publicity wh*ring - she KNOWS THE ROPES, in other words. She’s no innocent being led by the nose, she’s WORKING the tabloid and media outlets. THAT is what he means. My guess is, he’ll get a lot more clear on that, if Huvane, Maniston and her hens keep f*cking with him.

Whoa, ellie… I didn’t bring Brad and Angelina into this; I responded to someone who made stupid comments about Brad and Angelina that needed to get set straight yet again.
I’m not saying Aniston does not deserve happiness in her life; everybody deserves some happiness. Jesus please us, I’ve never in my life seen a grown woman with such a talent for shooting herself in the foot. She had 95% of public opinion on her side (I was in the other 5%) when Brad dumped her. If she had handled it with grace and class like Nicole Kidman, she’d still have the majority of public opinion on her side. Now she’s the laughing stock of H’wood and I’m finding it damn hard to dredge up any sympathy for her. She made her own bed. Now she has to lie in it. And it seems like she hasn’t learned her lesson even yet — now she’s ragging on Mayer for being a cheapskate. She’d better shut the hell up. Mayer is no Brad Pitt. Reese is a classy girl and never showed to public what Jen did on Vince. I remember the photo Jen was riding Vinces belly who was on the coach and was kissing him. She was still married to Brad then.
Topless Jen was smoking weed with Vince on her balcony and sued the paps who took that photos.
She bought that photo by herself ? AP said it was confidential deal.
