OlderJohn Mayer Spills Jennifer Aniston Break-Up Details
John Mayer stood up for his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston as he spoke to a group of photographers after working out at Equinox Gym in New York’s SoHo neighborhood. Here’s what the 30-year-old musician, who appeared emotional, nervous and sad, had to say to TMZ:
On why he broke up with Jen: “People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right. It’s not about years, it’s about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out.”
On his breakup being completely normal: “There’s no lying, there’s no cheating, there’s no nothing. I’m sorry that the story’s not interesting. But it’s about time that somebody stands up for that girl and I think she’s great.”
On setting the record clear about Jen: “If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody. Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I’ve ever met.”
On why relationships generally end: “You’re either a cheater or you breakup. And I’m not the first. I’m the second one. And that’s it. There’s no lying, there’s no bulls—, I just don’t want to be followed around New York City like an animal.”
On singing the praises of Aniston: “She’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met in my life and I’m going through something that’s a very personal thing and you have to give that up. You have to give everything up because you can’t have it all and it sucks.”

ITA #122 You are a friggin’ smart person who sees thu all the b.s. I admire that. Maniston and her people will do whatever they can to spin this her way just like they did with Brad. Look at her! She’s been in the news almost without fail for the past week. That is no coincidence, is it? Such a fraud of a person. Poor John, he’s just one person.
You don’t have to feel sorry for Jen. she and her PR team send a letter to the media saying she is the dumper. She said it first. Why we blame Jhon for?

Let’s be clear:
1)Maniston issued the opening salvo with the Vanity Fair piece, and you really don’t need to KEEP doing it - the one time, is all you need. One time, to declare yourself the innocent party, and call your ex a jerk, inferring that he ‘done you wrong,’ slandering his new woman and her young child, spill his secrets to the public that he told you about during your first separation (that he had an attraction to Angelina) , then get all of your friends to weigh in on his ‘behavior,’ post split and how it hurt you so bad — taking what WAS an amicable friendly split, and turning it into a grudge match full of acrimony and discord.
2)Every other magazine article that’s been done on her (excluding tabloids) have been about Jen’s ‘best revenge being happiness,’ (Oh! Revenge on who, Jen??? Hmmm), Jen’s pain and perseverance, Jen’s struggle, Jen Happy at Last, Jen’s Overcoming Life’s Difficulties, How Jen’s Doing Now…Jen, Ready for Love!….all of these articles don’t even NEED to mention Pitt by name, as her entire EXISTENCE is predicated on the scenario she laid out 4 years ago — that Brad Pitt is responsible for her happiness, and he’s responsible for her misery and he must pay in this way forever - it’s a coattail ride for Maniston that will NEVER end……I swear, chemo patients aren’t as coddled and poo-poo’d over as lame Jen Aniston, post Pitt split. It’s a pathetic, and weak asss spectacle. She’s the worst role model and example of a woman EVER
John only talked to the media to set the records straight. It was Jen who let her friends babble about the who dumped who first and to call John “a cheater”. Is it wrong for him to say “no, I didn’t cheat”, to clear his name? If you want people to respect you, try to respect them first.
Jennifer Aniston’s pals were rolling their eyes over the weekend about John Mayer’s unofficial press conferences discussing the couple’s breakup.
“Jen will never kiss and tell, but it’s she who ended the relationship,” a source close to Jen says. “(Mayer’s) childish behavior only confirms she was right to dump him. Now he’s acting like a spoiled child. Expect Jen to behave like a lady.”
Mayer first explained his version of the breakup to an OK! magazine reporter, who quickly posted online that Mayer did the dumping. “I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right,” Mayer told the reporter.
Yet Aniston’s pal says the something that “wasn’t right” was Mayer’s behavior toward the press during the relationship. “He has a relationship with certain paparazzi (and) bloggers,” the source said. “He tips them off. He loves the attention. Jen didn’t want to believe it was happening, but it was, and she has no tolerance for that.”
Another issue: Money. “Jen was tired of paying for everything,” said another source close to Aniston. “Cobwebs come flying out of (Mayer’s) wallet when he opens it. John liked living like a movie star when he was with her. … Jen would never say anything, but you could tell it irritated her.”
The sources close to Aniston say she isn’t going to make a statement about her relationship, despite their hunch that Mayer will continue to talk about it. “We’re talking about a guy who had a car waiting to take him home in New York, but he chose to walk so he could talk to the press (along the way). He’ll drag this out until there’s someone new,” says the source.

I dont think he would have said anything if her “friends” hadn’t come out last week and said she dumped him. He saw what they tried to do to Brad, and he is not going to allow them to do it to him also. John might be a douche, but he is not stupid. Lainey is always talking about “*** for tat” when talking about the JPs and X, she ‘aint see nothing yet. They better not get Mayer angry. For every lie they say about him, he will retaliate.
And please, give it up with the “poor Jen” crap. She is almost freaking
40 rears old. John is 30 years old. I know her options are dwindling, but her choice, her problem.

This is what’s in my mind too. In my opinion, John would not do this interview and so soon at that , letting the public know that he’s the one who really dumped Jen, if there was no news beforehand coming from Jen’s camp spilling lies about the reason of their failed relationship. He was maybe alarmed that ooops he’s placed in a bad light. He could have kept silent if ,whatever is left of his image, had not been put in jeopardy. This is where Jen’s camp (Jen herself, friends, publicist Huvane) miscalculated the situation. They didn’t see this coming. They thought John is the same as Brad who just kept quiet in the past about his separation with Jen despite he together with Angie were being crucified in the media through their evil machinations. With John, he didn’t take this sitting down. He thought it wise to make a move, fast. And so he did. When he did, it hurt Jen’s camp so bad that I am very certain they are now thinking and working overtime, planning what will be their next move to counteract this unexpected turn of events.
In John’s interview, to put it simply, he is like saying to the public, “I’m not the bad guy here, please.” No matter how much he tried to sugarcoat his statements by singing praises on Jen, doesn’t undermine the strong impact of his first statement on dumping her. It’s what stayed in the public minds.
Jen I think should really reflect about her life now, seriously. What she’s done to her fellowmen that she deserves one misery to another, should give her some serious thinking. If she’s reading objective blogs, reading various posts that are giving unsolicited advice, analyzing or pointing out her machinations to gain good image even in the process of she’s hurting a lot of people especially Angie & Brad (& family), and she’s really serious of changing her behavior & lifestyle, I think it would put some good common sense back to her life.
CLINIQUA , you are 100% right. John will strike back if Jen and her friends keep talking about him. John is smarter about PR than Jen and Huvane together and has good pap friends who will support him in whatever he decides to do and John works the tabloids and TMZ particularly well. John will not hesitate to tell all and I do mean all. Jen needs to shut up, shut her friends up, shut Huvane up, and lay low. John can and will get down and dirty if Jen keeps on playing these silly *** for tat games with him.

The media intrest was the same , since Reece is the highest paid actress and an oscar winner Plus her ex husband almost confessed he is a cheater. But she handled it with grace and class. She didn’t go wiinne pity me in shows and magazines. She didn’t let her friends do the dirty job for her . That why it all die easily for her. But for jen she made it what it is today.She is still milking it. They even blame B and A for her now jhon dumping.

Yeah Glenda, Mayer was a rambling fool, but I believe he was referring to Maniston’s advanced age. lmao. :lol: The hilarious part, was that no one asked him about, or mentioned how much older than him, she is. So by bringing it up, it shows it was an issue for him. lol
Here is a gentleman. He knows how to break up without leaving wrong impressions about the lady he’s been with. Brad was too busy with his new love to turn back and make the same effort.

BRAD ONLY SAID KIND THINGS A BOUT JEN WHEN THEY SPLIT. THEY PLANNED OUT THE WHOLE ANNOUNCEMENT TOGETHER. HE WAS A GENTLEMAN BUT GOT STABBED IN THE BACK BY SOMEONE WHO ADMITTED THEY HAD BOTH TRIED HARD TO MAKE THEIR RELATIONSHIP WORK..BUT THEY BOTH CHANGED.
