OlderJohn Mayer Spills Jennifer Aniston Break-Up Details
John Mayer stood up for his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston as he spoke to a group of photographers after working out at Equinox Gym in New York’s SoHo neighborhood. Here’s what the 30-year-old musician, who appeared emotional, nervous and sad, had to say to TMZ:
On why he broke up with Jen: “People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right. It’s not about years, it’s about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out.”
On his breakup being completely normal: “There’s no lying, there’s no cheating, there’s no nothing. I’m sorry that the story’s not interesting. But it’s about time that somebody stands up for that girl and I think she’s great.”
On setting the record clear about Jen: “If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody. Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I’ve ever met.”
On why relationships generally end: “You’re either a cheater or you breakup. And I’m not the first. I’m the second one. And that’s it. There’s no lying, there’s no bulls—, I just don’t want to be followed around New York City like an animal.”
On singing the praises of Aniston: “She’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met in my life and I’m going through something that’s a very personal thing and you have to give that up. You have to give everything up because you can’t have it all and it sucks.”

Now, X is finally getting the much needed attention she wishes all her life. Unfortunately, she draws this attention not because of talent or other reasons with significance. Yes indeed, it’s still a “tabloidish” kind of attention, only this time it’s different. Different in a sense it’s not maybe orchestrated by her camp, it’s not her own doing but it’s the effect of John’s revelation to set the record straight as an answer to the insinuations made by her camp that put John in a bad light. I just don’t know if this attention she’s getting is what she’s really seeking. As the saying goes, “Be careful what you wish for, you might get it”. She’s maybe wishing something for her self-interest even to the point of wishing for something bad to others. Her intentions are misdirected that’s why it’s no surprise she gets her wishes very unexpectedly in her own life in return, in a very negative way. As someone said, she may just have bitten more off more than she could chew. As proven by her maneuvers & manipulative actions in the past (through her friends, PR people & publicist Huvane), it was very clear she hurt a lot of people (Brad, Angie & family in particular). Her Modus Operandi is truly backfiring. The people she have hurt have chosen to ignore her schemes. Instead, the JPs chose a life well lived. Now, with this new turn of events, I wonder if she’s come to her senses. That she will come to various realizations. Realizations of the things that do more harm to her: the victim card she played; coattail riding on the JPs; ego-tripping; too much vanity etc.
Don’t know about you guys but I quit the goddess circle! After paying Huvane, does she have enough money to pay the goddess circle? Seems like they haven’t been paid in the last six months cuz they sure are slacking. Her “sister” cc should be fired. How could she let Aniston go out with a known douche like mayer? Jen Meyer should be kicked out. None of the films from her production company have been greenlighted at Universal. And with all her Hollywood friends, no new roles on the horizon. Is the goddess circle on strike?
I can’t stand his azz. Brad Pitt was more of a gentleman, he didn’t stand in the streets and run his mouth. The bottom line is he used Jen for sex then moved on as quick as he could. He is so ugly. Douche bag.

To Stop blaming Jen, it is amazing what a selective memory you have. You talk about Angie not caring about her dad, What about your idol who cut her mother off her life because of something that happened more than three decades ago. Doesn’t this show she is a vindictive and heartless person. If you cannot forgive a woman who carried you for 9ths and gave birth to you for something that happened in your childhood, what does that say of you as a person? This is where all her problems started. Until she can make peace with her mother bad karma will continue to follow her. And do your research, Angie and her mother were very very close. The whole world knew this but you. You cannot trap a man unless he wants to be trapped, I thought JM was an example of this. If a man can be trapped JA would have with JM, with all her money and the attention she lavished on him she still couldn’t keep him, unless there is something wrong with her personality. Brad may look like a buffoon (personally, i don’t think he is) or else you lots won’t be mentioning him everytime JA’s relationship fails) but the fact is that he was with her for over 5yrs and she never appreciated him, belittled him at every opportunity and the one thing he wanted as he reached 44 (children) she failed to fulfil that need for him. If someone else can give him all that in less than 3yrs while your idol failed after more than 5yrs, who would you say love him more or if you were in his shoes who would you want to be with? Something for you to chew on!
Angie saw the good in Brad that your idol failed to notice and acknowledge, you shouldn’t go on blaming Brad for channeling his love to someone who appreciates him and accepts him with all his failings and inadequacies.

I AGREE!! And also, Angelina is talking to her father so when someone is comparing when Angelina didn’t spoke with her father (and she had a good reason) with the fact that Maniston calls her mother disease and that when her mother was ill and in hospital she didn’t want to help her - I think that there is a BIG difference between this two situation! Because, Jon Voight is a rich man and if he was ill I am sure that Angie would be there for him, just like she was there for her mother, and Maniston mother is poor and when she was ill Maniston didn’t even help her! And I am sure that this story is very much true because Maniston has a “great” PR team and when there is a bad story about her in the press they are always there to denied it!!
Also, I am happy for Mayer, he did a great thing by leaving her!
