OlderJohn Mayer Spills Jennifer Aniston Break-Up Details
John Mayer stood up for his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston as he spoke to a group of photographers after working out at Equinox Gym in New York’s SoHo neighborhood. Here’s what the 30-year-old musician, who appeared emotional, nervous and sad, had to say to TMZ:
On why he broke up with Jen: “People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right. It’s not about years, it’s about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out.”
On his breakup being completely normal: “There’s no lying, there’s no cheating, there’s no nothing. I’m sorry that the story’s not interesting. But it’s about time that somebody stands up for that girl and I think she’s great.”
On setting the record clear about Jen: “If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody. Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I’ve ever met.”
On why relationships generally end: “You’re either a cheater or you breakup. And I’m not the first. I’m the second one. And that’s it. There’s no lying, there’s no bulls—, I just don’t want to be followed around New York City like an animal.”
On singing the praises of Aniston: “She’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met in my life and I’m going through something that’s a very personal thing and you have to give that up. You have to give everything up because you can’t have it all and it sucks.”

Jennifer Aniston’s pals were rolling their eyes over the weekend about John Mayer’s unofficial press conferences discussing the couple’s breakup.
“Jen will never kiss and tell, but it’s she who ended the relationship,” a source close to Jen says. “(Mayer’s) childish behavior only confirms she was right to dump him. Now he’s acting like a spoiled child. Expect Jen to behave like a lady.”
Mayer first explained his version of the breakup to an OK! magazine reporter, who quickly posted online that Mayer did the dumping. “I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right,” Mayer told the reporter.
Yet Aniston’s pal says the something that “wasn’t right” was Mayer’s behavior toward the press during the relationship. “He has a relationship with certain paparazzi (and) bloggers,” the source said. “He tips them off. He loves the attention. Jen didn’t want to believe it was happening, but it was, and she has no tolerance for that.”
Another issue: Money. “Jen was tired of paying for everything,” said another source close to Aniston. “Cobwebs come flying out of (Mayer’s) wallet when he opens it. John liked living like a movie star when he was with her. … Jen would never say anything, but you could tell it irritated her.”
The sources close to Aniston say she isn’t going to make a statement about her relationship, despite their hunch that Mayer will continue to talk about it. “We’re talking about a guy who had a car waiting to take him home in New York, but he chose to walk so he could talk to the press (along the way). He’ll drag this out until there’s someone new,” says the source.

I was wondering, why Jen always let her friends do the talking?
Are her friends the spokespersons of Jen?
Can’t she not defend herself by her own way?

Is Jen’s camp saying no one has the right to divulge details about the failed relationship but only them, whenever it suits them??!!
She started it by insinuating that John cheated many times, that she dumped him etc. After John retaliated by telling the public that he’s the one who dumped her, he is now called many names: spoiled child, kiss-and-tell, doesn’t pay etc.
Is she really that vindinctive as many people say, aside from being manipulative person?
What kind of a human being Jen really is?

Aniston is one step away from the human race - SHE HATES HER MOTHER - that alone should disqualify her as being human !

You’re paying attention to Rosanne Barr, oh my. The fact that you listen to that nut who has enough issues to warrant a fleet of therapist is a joke. Who cares really what Roseanne Barr says, you’d believe anyone including Castro if he said something you wanted to hear. She doesn’t know Brad or Angelina, but you CHOOSE to believe what she says rather than people who really know them like Clooney and the Eastwoods.
So where is the truth? From some woman whose career is in the toilet and needs the attention? You have to be kidding. I’ve lost track of the number of people she has talked crap about, that’s all she’s good for now. Roseann Barr is so far on the D-list as to be irrelevant to everyone. She seeks PUBLICITY but you don’t fault her for that because you like what she is saying. She needs to look in a mirror, without it breaking, and check herself. Tell me something someone who is credible said, not a has been joke.
No surprise that they broke up because EVERYBODY knows that Mayer is a *****, but it’s so funny that he is such an infantile little tool. He couldn’t wait to run out and let the world know that he dumped Jen. I can’t stand that fake insecure little princess Aniston, but John Mayer is just so lame.

About Roseann Barr……Hmm, wise choice of her…. to choose the ever famous, credible Brad & Angie to criticize subjectively. Now, at least very few people will take some notice of her somehow. ….What a way to revive her 15 minutes of fame!!! You know what, I could just imagine the reactions of B & A…. maybe they will just laugh about it, or even just be indifferent. As usual, they will just go on with their lives. The best revenge to this kind of unfounded insults is to live life well which is exactly what the JPs are doing.
I wonder if Ms. Barr is at peace with her life that she has so much bitterness about other people who she happen to not know personally. Barr is performing in Vegas to revive her career, and she choses Jolie and Pitt to get attention.
Just history - she had been attempting to do her one woman show for the last 3 years, and had been passed so many times. She had not been able to underwrite the production because no investment group will touch her. She is backing [underwriting] this with 85% of her money. No HF will fund this project, and most small investor had rejected her portfolio.
I never liked her then, and specially now - that she chose Jolie-Pitt to get attention.
