OlderJohn Mayer Spills Jennifer Aniston Break-Up Details
John Mayer stood up for his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston as he spoke to a group of photographers after working out at Equinox Gym in New York’s SoHo neighborhood. Here’s what the 30-year-old musician, who appeared emotional, nervous and sad, had to say to TMZ:
On why he broke up with Jen: “People are different, people have different chemistry. I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right. It’s not about years, it’s about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out.”
On his breakup being completely normal: “There’s no lying, there’s no cheating, there’s no nothing. I’m sorry that the story’s not interesting. But it’s about time that somebody stands up for that girl and I think she’s great.”
On setting the record clear about Jen: “If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody. Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I’ve ever met.”
On why relationships generally end: “You’re either a cheater or you breakup. And I’m not the first. I’m the second one. And that’s it. There’s no lying, there’s no bulls—, I just don’t want to be followed around New York City like an animal.”
On singing the praises of Aniston: “She’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met in my life and I’m going through something that’s a very personal thing and you have to give that up. You have to give everything up because you can’t have it all and it sucks.”

She is not (and never was except by association with Brad) anything other than an average looking, average talent television sitcom actress, but she will now be associated with not one, but TWO notable break-ups. The first because it was Brad, Pitt, the second because a three-month dating set-up has just placed her in the worst, most embarrassing, most over-the-top-ridiculous “pretending -to -defend -her -but -really -letting -the- world -know- I -wanted -out” sham, RECORDED video of all time. Horrors! How humiliating!

I like that John thinks he is “sticking up” for Jen but in all honesty he doesn’t make a d*mn bit of sense when he opens his mouth!
Jen doesn’t seem too upset over this break-up and I’m guessing she is confident enough now to know she doesn’t need a man to be happy. It didn’t work out, oh well life goes on seems to be her motto….and I think that is fantastic!
She looks great and best of all she has the means to look at all the haters and laugh because even at her most vulnerable and lowest point she will always have a better life than them :-)

You may like Jennifer Aniston. Or you may not care for her at all. Hopefully she will find happiness and peace if those things are eluding her. The bottom line is that Brad Pitt’s and the Manipulative and Ruthless Angelina Jolie’s behavior and the way it impacted Aniston’s life is classless and disgusting. Unless you are a third world orphan or refugee, Jolie is no doubt the most inhumane humanitarian on this planet. She leaves a trail of broken relationships and deceit where ever she goes. She has no real friends, just useful idiots. She is cruel to her own Father. While her Mother was dying, she was off arranging multiple photo-ops. Brad Pitt looks like a complete buffoon these days- he is ineffectual and embarrassing. It is obvious that all of Jolie’s “work” as a humanitarian is simple “undoing” of the low rent things she does to other women and people who are no longer useful or incapable of providing her with a marketable sound bite. No woman with any code, standards, or true empathy for other human beings would have carried on the way she did with Ms. Aniston’s then husband. Jolie carefully crafted a scheme to lure Pitt into a personal relationship, using her child, the promise of more children, and a grandiose notion that the two of those obscenely rich and moderately talented actors would change the word. The only things those two are changing these days are diapers, time zones, zip codes, and the number of children they collect.
Hey umber — I am a Jen Aniston fan, and I’m happily married with child. Well, I guess that blows your theory. Jen Aniston is awsome, and you and the other haters on this thread are seriously in need of help so that you can deal with your insane hatred of someone you don’t know.
And #53, how do you know she did send congratulations to Brad and Angie on the birth of their children? Are you privy to information none of the rest of us are?
My question has been and still is: If you hate Jen Aniston so much, then why are you going out of your way to not only read stories about her but also spend your time writing trash about her? How empty your lives must be.

Oh honey, get real. Stop personalizing a relationship that has nothing to do with you. You sound like a scorned, bitter hag. If Brad Pitt was happy with Aniston, neither Jolie nor anyone else could have taken him away from her. He had stopped loving her at least a year before he ever met Jolie, he was sick and tired of a loveless, childless marriage, and he wanted out. Jolie was just there to scoop him up. End of story.
Who you date is a big wide mirror providing a clear reflection of who YOU are. #53 — My question was how do you know that Jen Aniston did not send her congrates to the Jolie-Pitts?
Let me ask a general question: If you ex-husband or ex-wife were to go on and have a child with the first person he/she became involved with after your breakup, and that child arrived within 7 months of your divorce would you be upset? Would you call your ex and congratulate him or her? (I’m not trashing the JP’s, so don’t get your panties in a bunch.)

Jen cannot have a relationship because she picks the wrong men. She needs to step back and see what she is doing wrong.
