Selena Gomez arrives at the 2008 ALMA Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday in Pasadena, Calif.
The 16-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star wore a Grecian-inspired one-shoulder gown by Marchesa.
Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria serves as both the host as well as the executive producer of the awards show. The event celebrates the best artistic achievements of Latinos in TV, music and film. The ALMA award stands for the American Latino Media Arts Award.

I love the dress and makeup but I think her hair should have been a bit more relaxed. The formality of the style makes her look a bit too old for her age, imo.
