After John Mayer’s very public statements regarding his break-up with Jennifer Aniston, her friends are rallying support around the former Friends star.
“Jen will never kiss and tell, but it’s she who ended the relationship,” a source close to Jen says. “(Mayer’s) childish behavior only confirms she was right to dump him. Now he’s acting like a spoiled child. Expect Jen to behave like a lady.”
According to John, “I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right.”
Another source close to Jen said, “Jen was tired of paying for everything. Cobwebs come flying out of (Mayer’s) wallet when he opens it. John liked living like a movie star when he was with her. … Jen would never say anything, but you could tell it irritated her.”

In my opinion, they dumped each other. Most likely John’s eye was naturally roaming, JA who is probably much more sensitive/defensive when that starts to happen - quickly said, “I’m out” sensing his interest fading. ALL based on ego… Ladies, we all know when a man comes on REALLY strong, he fades away in a blink of an eye and we sit and wonder, “what just happened? where did he go?” One minute they are everywhere together, the next nothing… isn’t it obvious???? His infatuation started to die out and she sensed it and abruptly it ended. TYPICAL. No mystery here! What goes up must come down… he’s really turned on by her and then it naturally fades (has to come down)… only when you truly like the person and feel a connection that transcends the relationship to the next level. There was no transcending here! Oh well.

tsk… I’ve never commented on this site before… this is my first. But apparently everyone keeps thinking I’m a fan of Aniston. LOL If you must know, I’m a HUGE fan of Jolie. Always have been since GIA. I just don’t think it’s necessary to choose sides and be a team this person or that person. Though right now I’m TEAM USA.
Furthermore, I think Aniston’s acting range is limiting and she’s a good actress within her limits.
John Mayer, great lyrics, good musician - talented. And, I’m not personally attracted to him (not my typical type: dark hair/dark eyes) and I think his actions of posting “whom broke up with who” was childish!
I think Tsk you need to grow up and stop thinking that your way of thinking is the truth. BUT what I’m stating isn’t about talent nor is it about being a fan - it’s about a person’s actions and character; and I think John’s actions make his character in that moment, childish!

You sound like a very nice person, perhaps a little naïve and new to the ways of critical Aniston observation and manipulation and it’s appreciated that you want others to know what was coming up next. I think what lylian is trying to relay to you is that
Star Magazine has never been a credible magazine and one must take what they print with very little seriousness because it’s mainly hype and publicity to get their magazine recognition.

I actually think this is sweet but perhaps the key words are “I chose” and you are very idealistic and always keep a bit of idealism with you in your heart but maturity, experience and truth will cause some idealism to crash and in reality some things never change especially people and some individuals lives never turn around because they don’t have the skills, the serious desire to make change for themselves or they have an agenda only known to them. Sadly to say Jennifer Aniston may be one of those individuals.
Most JP supporters don’t really want JA to fail but all her perceived failures are her own doing and she has become the brunt of predictable behavior. Consequently her actions and non actions are not to be taken seriously and admittedly some think laughable because Aniston appears to be out of touch with her own public persona which is encompasses a range of interpretations from sad, pathetic, amusing, disingenuous, manipulative to plain stupid.
I hope after her stated twenty years of professional therapy Aniston can soon meet your expectations of her but over the past three and a half years since the “triangle”, do you really see any changes in her behavior?

I’m am honestly curious since I personally cannot think of a single positive thing that can be said about her. But since some of you defend her so vigorously, I suppose I could be missing something. I am not looking for generalities, but SPECIFIC EXAMPLES of what she has done to earn your undying loyalty.

Thank you. I chose to take what you said as a compliment. I have only just became of aware of this triangle thing since she dated Mayer. I took notice then because I thought to my self that this relationship with Mayer is going to end badly so I started watching and reading the the blogs on long slow summer days. I remember what went on with him and the other ladies he dated and knew this would follow the same course. I am not familiar with Jen so I really don’t know her pattern at all. I do really hope that this triangle thing could end. I can see the horrible comments on both sides and they come from unresolved issue. seen several of his TMZ rants and Mayer is always calm and collected, but he definitely did not seem that way with this one. This leads me to believe that Jen probably dumped him. Most people have been saying since they started going out that once they breakup Mayer will write about their relationship on his blog. you are probably tired of advices here still, maybe you need to do something really meanfull and profound with your skills besides the “yoga thing”, you need to reinvent your self a little bit starting from your on particular talents and skills, like starting to …paint again! Have a vacation and get some big canvases and play with colors, you used to paint… that is a talent that comes from God, express your self, do something like a art show or a charity event. People look at your love life but have something else to the table.
Bring something new and real to your image because you do have the potential, for sure you don’t want stay forever in the same “cute” and superficial repertoire. Find your self again.

- i think we ‘her fans’ admire her courage during the time of her break up with brad for Brad’s turn-around was done blatantly. people have personal opinions about everyone but some take it to the limit of exploitation for the benefit of smearing their name, personality, features. Perhaps it is a comparison between themselves and Jennifer or Angelina Jolie seeing whoever is the better. Is it truly necessary to show such hatred towards someone who quite frankly most of them dont know but have perceived in their own imagination and judged what they believe is so.
I would not do that to my worst enemy. But then again that’s just me.

But if indeed this call happened and if indeed Brad did listen to Jennifer whining on the other end of the phone, then I’ll bet that after Brad put down the phone, he ran into the bedroom where mama Angelina was breastfeeding the twins, kissed her fervently and lovingly and uttered a silent prayer of thanks that he doesn’t have to put up with Jennifer’s mishaps and whining day in day out.

Usually when someone jumps up and yells “i ended the relationship to be alone…” and repeat that three times during a short interview it is a good indication that he/she is the one who got dumped. I am pretty sure the dumping hurt john’s ego a lot for him to act like that because he never did that with simpson or minka kelly.
On the other hand anniston is being immature to strike back. Especially the comment about money, really off color
