OlderJennifer Aniston: Privacy Please!
After John Mayer’s very public statements regarding his break-up with Jennifer Aniston, her friends are rallying support around the former Friends star.
“Jen will never kiss and tell, but it’s she who ended the relationship,” a source close to Jen says. “(Mayer’s) childish behavior only confirms she was right to dump him. Now he’s acting like a spoiled child. Expect Jen to behave like a lady.”
According to John, “I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right.”
Another source close to Jen said, “Jen was tired of paying for everything. Cobwebs come flying out of (Mayer’s) wallet when he opens it. John liked living like a movie star when he was with her. … Jen would never say anything, but you could tell it irritated her.”

I think Mayer was too quick to deal with the press which in itself is suspect. Typically when two people break up its not a happy situation..regardless of who was the “breaker”. He just wrote a huge disertation on the media..privacy..etc. Then he goes all out to discuss his private life within a very public forum. Pure manipulation on Mayers part..always has been always will be.
Damn it, I trust Mayer, even though he’s last in the list of people I like.
It’s so pathetic of Aniston camp: if you want to keep ‘dignified silence’, then keep it and don’t let your friends do the dirty job.
Pathetic, I can sort of see why Pitt was eager to get out of loveless, childless marriage with pathetic old fool.
Jennifer is a wonderful person. I don’t believe that she got her “friends” to make any comments to the media. I think those stories are lies. I think Jen and John just had a summer fun fling that ended. Big deal. I’m sure they’ll both move on just fine.
Quit raggin on Jen. She’s a beautiful nice smart woman. She never talks trash about her ex’s.

Jennifer is SOOOOO into Brad Pitt. She can’t get over him; period. She is a ****. Wile Brad has only dated and “married” Angie; Jen has dated like; how much is it? 8? 9? 10? and then got dump. May be she calls them all Brad in the middle of the night…. Cruel but true.

I don’t believe her story…I think he dumped her ass cause she was in a hurry to get married & have a baby, in the mags every week… ..he’s not ready for that.
She had a husband and he wanted a familey, she didn’t want a baby then, so hubby went and found somebody who did, her lose his gain .

All ___ has to do is issue a statement saying that the recent platitudes made about Mayer by her ‘friends’ were not made by her friends.
It’s not unusual for celebrities to take up for private citizens who have been linked to false stories by the press (i.e. the JPs protecting Holly Goline).
Yes, I agree, Jen is sooo not over Brad. It’s not that she can’t find or hold on to a man, but that she doesn’t really want to. She doesn’t really want to close the book on Brad yet…if ever.
All right, I’ve been a fan of Jen forever, but this is turning into a high school version of he said, she said. Her camp needs to shut up and just leave well enough alone. It was expected that Mayer would come up with some BS story - true or not, saying whatever he wanted to make himself look better, but she and her people should have just left well enough alone. In the end, it just makes her sound worse because we all know Mayer won’t be able to not retaliate to this latest piece, and now she just sounds pathetic for trying to save face from a relationship everyone knew was going to end soon.

who in their right mind would think these two would last over a couple of months with the track record they have. i think jen is hot but she was just milking the publicity while brad’s twins were being born. these two have jumped from bed to bed, so i guess three months is about right for them.

I knew this would happen. Mayer kiss up to the media. In any break up John will make him self come out smelling like roses. He did the same think with Jessica Simpson. Most of the comment are John Mayer fans they never like Jen in the first place. Mayer use his fans after the break up to beat down the women after each of his break up.
I said it before this break up is not going to be nice for Jen. John control the media more than Jen. Everyone will side with John. I will bet you this is going to tear her career up look at what happen to Jessica’s career, dumb thing still trying to fix her career. Jen has to do some thing fast because John has let his dogs lose on Jen.
Jen needs to hook up with another guy. Go out on dates with him, let the public see she is over John and moved on.

I think it’s interesting that Jared left out one of the more significant “friend” quotes:

Mr. Pot, Mr. Kettle is on line one. Huvane CAUSED the final split by WRITING then PLANTING the “wedding” product-placement ad in OK!. Then, in the aftermath of the unexpected “dumping,” we were subjected to his daily (Hell, almost HOURLY) planted photo ops of Chinny Chin Chin “out -and-about” with a plastic smile painted on her plastic face. So this pathetic attempt at “in-bed-with-the-media” spin is an insult to the intelligence of anyone over the age of 9.

Jen seems to always be happy after her breakups.. She is always happy and so in love when she is dating.. They always put up a picture of Jen in every tabloid that was taken 5 years ago to show she is happy and a recent picture to reflect stories like Jen’s loss..
I guess everyone knows that she blew her best chance when she divorced Brad (and yes she filed for the divorce).. She also needs to stop leaking stories about wanting babies because she only looks pathetic when Angie is coming up roses on all fronts (babies, movies, her humanitarian work).
We get it Jen, you want us to know that you look good, you are still young at heart, you still have movies coming out, you can direct/produce movies, you do charity.. and of course the most important one you are happy without Brad. Can you please not go into a pity party about Mr Mayer when Oprah invites u to promote “He’s not that into You”..

I don’t believe any of Jens friends would make a statement on her behalf..I think if she wanted a statement made, she would do it herself….I also think John is an assbag.who should STFU..he sounds like a moron.
I rarely comment on any other celebrities, but Aniston really is the most annoying celebrity out there. The biggest thing I can’t stand about her is her cowardice and fraudulent public image. She cares so much about her public image that it really is ruining her love life. No honest and decent man will date her for the right reasons now other than to gain a few minutes in the spotlight because of her tabloid fame (and money). She tries to sell her self as this classy lady, but her actions completely contradict what it means to be classy. After each break up, why are we constantly hearing comments from her “friends” that attack and criticize her exs? Why does she always feel the need to do this to the men she’s dated? I’m no fan of John Mayer either, but in this instance, I don’t blame him for speaking up and defending himself against accusations that he’s a liar and a cheater.
