Katie Holmes’ Silver Lining

Katie Holmes takes up her favorite pegged jeans look again (rolled-up redux!) as she grabs a cup of coffee outside her New York City apartment on Monday afternoon. Cute silver flats!

As you all know, the 29-year-old actress makes a cameo on the hit ABC show, Eli Stone. Series regular Natasha Henstridge recently sang the praises of Katie. She told Extra!: “Rumor has it they went 16, 17, 18 hours. Some crazy long day. She had not said a word. Didn’t bat an eyelash. So sweet. Not an issue at all. It’s lovely to see somebody who really does have the capability of making people’s lives difficult, be so grounded. She’s definitely that.”

Harsh, #63. And those were some pretty superficial complaints. Carrying drinks in public? Children out of wedlock? Accusing HER of bringing the cameras?

Either back up the outlandish accusations or shut up, #66.

No, #71. She’s just a very grounded person.

Quit blaming Cruise for every single thin Holmes does, #72. It sound silly saying that he makes his wives do this and that. As if you could ever know for sure.

Let’s wait till the reviews come in before you start mourning her. Okay?

I don’t think Katie signed up for these photos to be taken of her. What’s she going to go away from? She got mega critic attention for Pieces of April which is a great movie. So she’s not all the crap of an actress.
It’s not her fault people stalk her because of her marriage. It’s like a fairy tale…how many of us love an actor and dream of marrying them and having children with them and actually have it come true. I’m jealous!
That family is mega gorgeous!

EMMA — Everything you posted is dead on regarding any comparison to Kennedy.

Additionally, Katie is reverting to her own style,e.g., uncombed hair, however, isn’t ready to give up media attentions, so obviously adds a accessory or a cuff to gain press.

If she truly wanted to be ignored, she wear the same levis and flats daily with a different t-shirt.

As for Beckham, she has no style at all. She is what is referred to in industry as a fashion victim. A wind up low class blow-up doll terrified of losing her husband. Her defense it wear 4 inch heels and mini skirts every day of her life.

Interesting that Katie has no such fears. It’s obvious she is playing to the tabloid version of the fashion press and isn’t worried about being attractive to Tom.

Or maybe it’s not about being a fashion icon or trying to be ignored, #78. Maybe she’s just wearing what she wants to wear regardless of what the press or public thinks.
