Gossip Girl cutie Leighton Meester looks preppy pretty on the set of her hit CW drama, which is filming at Columbia University in the Upper West Wide neighborhood of New York City on Monday. Although, her jean shorts look a wee bit short on her!
The 22-year-old actress recently filmed a catfight scene with her costar Blake Lively.
“Blake was coming at me and I was scared,” Leighton told E! News at Gossip Girl’s second-season premiere party.
Blake added, “We were laughing so hard…it was 1am and it was rainy out. We were ad-libbing.”

No, I agree. Leighton’s very much like Rachel. They’re both strikingly gorgeous, the best female teen actress on each of their respective shows and they both got overshadowed by the tall main blonde.
I agree the Leighton’s more talented than Rachel but no way is she better looking. Sorry.

I’ts so strange Blair in the episode being filmed is styled to look as plain and dowdy as possible, while Serena is overstyled to look like some kind of in your face plastic barbie/ hooker.

just like in the OC, Rachel Bilson was overshadowed by Mischa Barton but look at what happens to Mischa’s career. I hope Leighton Meester will also get the awards, roles, fame and recognition she deserves in the near future.
PS: How could she not win at least one category of the Teen Choice award? And Blake won??

ITA with u guys about leighton if any one had watched GG they would know she can out act blake any day but Blake tall and blond and the media tends to foucus on them more which is sad because i tend to like the brunette actress they tend to be better actors IMO
