OlderMatilda Ledger is an Ice Pop Princess
Matilda Ledger, the 2-year-old daughter of Michelle Williams and the late Heath Ledger licks away at her ice pop while going for a stroll in the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York City on Monday.
And luckily for Matilda, the three stars who completed Heath Ledger’s role in his final film, The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, have donated their paychecks to her.
Apparently Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell did the fantasy epic movie out of the goodness of their hearts, reports The Sun.
Director Terry Gilliam said: “They didn’t take money — it goes to Heath’s daughter. That’s extraordinary! And wonderful . . . and when you’re part of that, you think, ‘Ah, this is maybe why I went into the movies in the beginning. I thought it would be full of wonderful people. And we’ve got a movie full of wonderful people who did extraordinary things to help.”

What a wonderful act of kindness! I get tired of hearing all the crap written about stars, it’s nice to hear that these stars were selfless enough to do this wonderful act, which I’m sure is in honor of her daddy. No matter how he died, this child deserves to know that her daddy was an awesome actor!

I think this proves what many of us thought about Ledger’s family. His father is truly trash for taking this child’s rightful inheritance. Good for the guys to directly give Matilda the money. More than her piss poor grandfather ever did for her.

She is a sweet little girl, who lost her father. The people who are calling her names and saying nasty things about her need to grown up. If you don’t have anything nice to say(considering she is a CHILD) then don’t say anything.

#41 I was wondering what that situation was too. I read a comment saying his father took the money from Heath’s estate. Why wouldn’t he give it to Matilda? Even if it was left to his father, you would would think the father would just give it to Matilda.

It’s really not about the money, bcz I’m sure Matilda Rose is well set. It’s the gesture. The idea that this is the very last movie we will ever see Heath in. Ever. And so they dedicated the money to Matilda, as he most likely would have done. So on his behalf they are doing this. It’s as if he were still here. It brought tears to my eyes. I adore all of them but especially now, for this.

Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell were worried for Matilda’s future as Heath left an old will which did not include the little one.
Heath’s dad, Kim Ledger, is in control of Heath’s estate. Family members have said they’re concerned that daddy will mismanage the actor’s money.
The three played versions of Heath’s character, Tim, in fantasy epic The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus.

however, come on paparazzi, STOP taking pictures of her!! It’s a well known fact that the aspect of fame Heath absolutely HATED was the having to deal with paparazzi when he just wanted to have some leisure time with friends and family. The VERY least they could do out of respect to him is to grant his daughter the privacy she deserves, and that he would have wanted her to have. Not to mention I’m sure Michelle doesn’t enjoy it either.
