Matilda Ledger is a Tumblin’ Toddler
Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda enjoy a beautiful day out in a park in New York City on Sunday.
Matilda Rose, 2 1/2, was having a ball as she used her scooter and went down the slide!
In case you missed it, Michelle was seen out on a romantic dinner with boyfriend Spike Jonze on Saturday. The pair met when Michelle auditioned for the Jonze-directed film, Where the Wild Things Are.

#42, even if you didn’t say it, Suri does seem very expressionless. Matilda’s face says a thousand words. Don’t get me wrong, I think Suri looks cute, but they drown her in these expensive outfits. In the end, Matilda will be the more laid-back of the two.

Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell , and Jude Law all took over for the role Heath Ledger started to play in his last movie before his death, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. The three all play different versions of the character in the fantasy-like film.
Because Heath left all of his money to his father at the time of his death, Johnny, Colin, and Jude wanted to make sure Matilda wasn’t being left out, so they’ve all donated their paychecks from the film to her.
Director Terry Gilliam says of his leading men,”The three actors were totally heroic coming in. This doesn’t happen very often . . . where there’s a tragedy like this, and very famous, very successful actors suddenly say, ‘Okay, we’ll do whatever it takes to help.’ They came; they did the work; they allowed the movie to be finished; they didn’t take money–the money goes to Heath’s daughter. That’s so wonderful!!! I saw a very brief clip where Terry Gilliam simply said, that people just couldn’t help them selves. They just fell in love with Heath. Anyone who ever knew him, fell in love aith him. Couldn’t help it. I have always loved Johnny, Colin and Jude Law. They are top of my list. Now I know why. They are “Good.” Really good. They have “Heart.”
Heath left a huge hole in my heart. I sense that he is not smiling down at Matilda…he is WITH Matilda. She has the most amazing Guardian Angel!!!

It is so nice to see a her without a baby bottle hanging out of her mouth. It seems to be the trend in Hollywood to see parents of 2 and 3 year olds with baby bottles. But maybe that’s just a scientology thing.

Katie Holmes doesn’t work nearly as much since she had Suri. She got with Tom, got preggers and had Suri. And I haven’t seen her in too much unless it was small roles that she could keep Suri with her. She takes her to the playground and gets flack, takes her out to eat with her husband and gets flack. Man, I am so glad I am not a celebrity. I’d hate to be penalized as a mother for taking her out to eat with my husband, and taking her to the park and having people shouting at me and having flashing cameras in my face.
I just don’t see why she’s a bad mom. I think all celebrities do the best that they can with their children in these situations…
(I’m talking current mom’s…not, like, Drew Barrymore’s mom)

Matilde is such a beautiful and happy child. Her little face is so much like her late papa’s. If Keith were here she would be doing exactly what she is doing now. Growing up on schedule and living a normal life. Keith always was a down to earth sort of guy, its good to see that Michelle is bringing up with the same vibe she and Keith together would have done. She is sooo adorable. God bless her!

I AGREE with you NUMBER # 30…. What is the difference??? Matilda is adorable and looks just like Heath…. I’m glad Michelle is moving on with her life and seems happy with Spike.. Katie brought Suri to the same park and was raked over the coals for it…. On another site, Matilda has on a Pull-up, so is anyone saying anything hateful about that??? NO!!!! BUT, Suri, was wearing one, and everybody has a coronary… Matilda also does NOT have socks on in the past stories either…… Same as Suri… And is NOT always smiling, but no-one calls her creepy, retarded, and satanic looking…. BOTH children are precious as can be, and different as night and day….
She’s starting to look a bit more like Michelle than she used to. I remember just after Heath passed I saw a picture of Matilda and she was the SPIT of Heath. We are very blessed to have someone alive with Heath’s spirit. :)

TO NUMBER # 72… Why should Michelle live in Australia when she works and lives in New York AND London??? What work is there for her there? AND NUMBER #81 ……. What does that mean??? We all are talking about children…. if you are referring to that person, I have seen her or him on other posts…. don’t understand… AND #82 again….. How can you tell HOW Matilda is going to grow up??? Look at all the Hollywood child stars that eveyone thought was so cute, that they thought would be great stars and wonderful adults, and turned out to be nightmares today…. No-one can tell by looking at a child, or at their mother…. That is developed over the years… Matilda is a beautiful girl as is Suri, but neither of us can predict how they will lead their lives. But, they both have wonderful moms who love them!!

Okay, first of all, whether Suri wears a pull up or drinks from a bottle is not her decision - it is her parents, so give the poor little thing a break!
Secondly, Suri is 6 months YOUNGER than Matilda and when you are talking about potty training and bottles that can be quite a span in development.
They are both beautiful, innocent children…no one can choose their parents..not even these kids. It is not Suri Cruise’s fault that her Dad is one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood…of course she is going to lead a different kind of life than Matilda. Not necessarily better or worse - just different.
Again…before comparing Suri’s developmental milestones to Matilda’s, keep in mind she is 6 months younger!
