Rosanne Barr just blogged some very nasty comments about Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and her actor father, Jon Voight. Here’s what the 55-year-old comedian/actress had to say:
“Jon Voight is a frightened little girl in a pink ballet tutu… your evil spawn Angelina Jolie and her vacuous hubby Brad Pitt make about forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more. (Just sayin’).
“Also Miss Jolie says she likes McCain too and hasn’t decided who to endorse….huh? Aren’t you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the republican party’s worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Reagan? Whaaaa…??????!!!! (For that matter, the thai and vietnamese sons you are photo’d with weekly too!!!? Who’s [sic] pictures you sell to raise money to help the poor? … We want to save not lose our souls thank you. Now go back to making your movies about women who love to handle big guns that shoot hundreds of people to death. Ps….it might be good for your Asian and African children’s self-esteem to know you support a brown man for the leader of the free world.)

In a bit of nicer news, Brad is teaming up with Kiehl’s for charity, WWD reports. One hundred percent of the net profits from sales of Kiehl’s Aloe Vera Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanser, due in October, will benefit JPF Eco Systems, a charitable foundation created by Kiehl’s and Brad to support global environmental initiatives that “minimize impact on the environment through thoughtful design.” Brad handwrote part of the product label.

What a bitter person! I thought she was still on her medication….How many of us can say we give $3 mill to charity each year or per picture! Not to mention the humanitarian work both actors do for the word. Roseanne needs to go back to her psychiatrist for upgrade to her meds!! I almost forgot, Brad and Angie gave the $14 million they made from family pics to charity, how many celebs can say they do that?! Roseanne shame on you!

Roseanne hates on about everybody…I was wondering when someone would finally post this…after all, I could care less which celebrity supports which candidate…my voting decision is base solely on ME…I don’t care if Angelina supports Barack or McCain…Roseanne forgets that voting is a personal choice…she makes it sound like all Republicans are the antichrist…I don’t even claim this woman as a Democrat with her narrow minded hatred of other people…just read some of her other blogs and you won’t take her serious…

It’s not just Rosanne, nobody believes in Brangelina’s facade.
She may be bitter, but she could outact Angelina Jolie anyday of the week. Her sitcom Roseanne was classic and it’s better than anything Angie has done in her career.
I would think that any thinking person, which, while crude and trashy, Roseanne has always been, would understand that Angelina is trying to stay neutral while holding the candidates’ feet to the fire. If she said she was neutral, they would ignore her, but by holding out the possibility of an endorsement by not ever saying she won’t endorse one or the other, she forces them to declare what they will do for the refugees. In the wake of Angelina’s statement that she was still making up her mind while awaiting their policy announcements, there have been numerous stories on the Iraqi refugees.
As for her violent movies, Angelina seems able to deliniate what is real and what is not better than Roseanne does. Angelina herself has not killed thousands of people, and admits that while it’s not politically correct, it’s fun to play with guns. (Just like most kids playing cops and robbers or cowboys and indians, and adults who hunt or target shoot, but is it only wrong if you are paid to play in makebelieve?)
Notice that there is some morality to her gun-play in Wanted and Tomb Raider, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith was a comedy more about marriage than assassinating people who seemed to be pretty evil themselves.
And what about her white children’s self-esteem? That reasoning for supporting Obama is very, very flawed and downright strange. Is only a person of color in the White House going to help their self-esteem, or is it necessary to vote for a person of color to give children of color self-esteem? What the hell does that mean, really?
Besides, Roseanne’s figures are off. The amount that Brad and Angie have given out of what they earn is more than Roseanne states, or ever will give herself, she who is making a mint off royalties from her sitcom that ran for a decade and has been in syndication since about year five of that run.
And talk about hypocrisy — Roseanne has five children, all created, none adopted from available children needing homes, and one abandoned before the first of Roseanne’s three marriages. How many are dunces who are consuming more than their fair share and wrecking the earth even more?
About Roseann Barr……Hmm, wise choice of her…. to choose the ever famous, credible Brad & Angie to criticize subjectively. Now, at least very few people will take some notice of her somehow. ….What a way to revive her 15 minutes of fame!!! You know what, I could just imagine the reactions of B & A…. maybe they will just laugh about it, or even just be indifferent. As usual, they will just go on with their lives. The best revenge to this kind of unfounded insults is to live life well which is exactly what the JPs are doing.
I wonder if Ms. Barr is at peace with her life that she has so much bitterness about other people who she happen to not know personally. The way she’s trying to put other people down just to get public interest, I am afraid how Karma will catch up with her in the future. What goes around, comes around. She will reap whatever she sow.
