Rosanne Barr just blogged some very nasty comments about Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and her actor father, Jon Voight. Here’s what the 55-year-old comedian/actress had to say:
“Jon Voight is a frightened little girl in a pink ballet tutu… your evil spawn Angelina Jolie and her vacuous hubby Brad Pitt make about forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more. (Just sayin’).
“Also Miss Jolie says she likes McCain too and hasn’t decided who to endorse….huh? Aren’t you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the republican party’s worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Reagan? Whaaaa…??????!!!! (For that matter, the thai and vietnamese sons you are photo’d with weekly too!!!? Who’s [sic] pictures you sell to raise money to help the poor? … We want to save not lose our souls thank you. Now go back to making your movies about women who love to handle big guns that shoot hundreds of people to death. Ps….it might be good for your Asian and African children’s self-esteem to know you support a brown man for the leader of the free world.)

In a bit of nicer news, Brad is teaming up with Kiehl’s for charity, WWD reports. One hundred percent of the net profits from sales of Kiehl’s Aloe Vera Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanser, due in October, will benefit JPF Eco Systems, a charitable foundation created by Kiehl’s and Brad to support global environmental initiatives that “minimize impact on the environment through thoughtful design.” Brad handwrote part of the product label.

Whether you like or agree with the Jolie-Pitts or not, is it not their right to make their own choice for President. For someone to attack them so viciously for not having made their minds up is unbelievable.

Good for Roseanne Barr for having the courage to be authentic AND speak the truth!!!! Someday all those who bow down to this couple who have six children and (yet) continue to make violent movies are as sick as the “masks” they worship.

Jared, why would you post this? This is so ugly, an unprovoked and untrue attack on a lovely family and true humanitarians. Roseann is what is wrong with the Democratic Party. That ugly hate filled response to someone who they claim does not think like them. That because you are not democrat, you are evil and destroying the world. It was that hatred that drove me out of the Democratic party. That use of fear and spite filled retaliation against people who have done nothing wrong but note vote the way they think one should. Hollywood should just stay out of politics. They alienate more people then sway a vote!

She may be bitter, but she could outact Angelina Jolie anyday of the week. Her sitcom Roseanne was classic and it’s better than anything Angie has done in her career.

LMAO! I love it :) I’m not a fan of Rosanne Bar, but I am truly not a fan of Pitt-Jolie, and I have to agree with Bar here. What she says make sense, and I always thought Pitt and Jolie are media whores who just LOVE media attention and will do Anything to get that. Two relationships were ruined for Pitt by the media–Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston relationships. You would think he’d learn!!!! Well his exes have. Even his ex Juliette Lewis has nothing nice to say about Brad.

I do not like that angelina says she likes mccain. mccain is too old to be pres. and should choose dr kervorkian as his vice. he is not a hero at all, and gave up his buddies one day after capture…this is not the kind of man who can lead us. Roseanne was one of my favorites in the past because she wasn’t afraid of saying things in her programme something I’d never seen before on a US show. However, although I can understand why she might be cross when she heard that AJ was even contemplating voting for the right winger I don’t think this was the way to do it. Politically, it does seem very odd to consider backing the Republicans for the reasons that were pointed out and also for making very violent movies but AJ in my opinion has her heart in the right place and this is why I like her but have no interest in other celebrities. I’ve always thought that in time she will put the ‘politics together’ because she takes a genuine interest in refugees and one of the main things you learn if you have an interest in refugees is why they are refugees and follow the trail. In so many cases it will lead you right smack bang to the US government. I do wish Roseanne had done this in another way as AJ is not some vacuous person like so many out there. I believe AJ will get there in the end after all she is only in her early 30s and her heart is a good one.
