Rosanne Barr just blogged some very nasty comments about Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and her actor father, Jon Voight. Here’s what the 55-year-old comedian/actress had to say:
“Jon Voight is a frightened little girl in a pink ballet tutu… your evil spawn Angelina Jolie and her vacuous hubby Brad Pitt make about forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more. (Just sayin’).
“Also Miss Jolie says she likes McCain too and hasn’t decided who to endorse….huh? Aren’t you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the republican party’s worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Reagan? Whaaaa…??????!!!! (For that matter, the thai and vietnamese sons you are photo’d with weekly too!!!? Who’s [sic] pictures you sell to raise money to help the poor? … We want to save not lose our souls thank you. Now go back to making your movies about women who love to handle big guns that shoot hundreds of people to death. Ps….it might be good for your Asian and African children’s self-esteem to know you support a brown man for the leader of the free world.)

In a bit of nicer news, Brad is teaming up with Kiehl’s for charity, WWD reports. One hundred percent of the net profits from sales of Kiehl’s Aloe Vera Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanser, due in October, will benefit JPF Eco Systems, a charitable foundation created by Kiehl’s and Brad to support global environmental initiatives that “minimize impact on the environment through thoughtful design.” Brad handwrote part of the product label.

Not to mention the humanitarian work both actors do for the word. Roseanne needs to go back to her psychiatrist for upgrade to her meds!! While I agree with your comment, I just want to point out that Angie gives A THIRD of her money to charity, not just $ 3 million. ;-)
Roseanne needs to shut her yapper. How much of HER money does she give to charity? How many children has she adopted and saved from poverty? Maybe she should think before she speaks………it might save her from looking so stupid.
And like you said, WakeUpPeople, whether you like them or not, you can’t deny that they’re humanitarians. I believe that they have good hearts and that’s the reason they give so much to charity; some people who aren’t their fans believe they give for publicity. Either way, they give more money than some of us can ever dream of making, and they give more help to the poor and refugees than some of us can ever dream of giving. No matter WHAT their reason is for giving, that alone should be reason enough to give them at least SOME respect, Ms. Barr.
