Zac and Ashley were on-hand to present the special achivement award to Kenny Ortega for Outstanding Director of a Made for TV Movie. (Kenny Ortega recently direct Zac and Ashley in High School Musical 3.
Zac, 20, is looking to move forward after carving his initial niche in the acting world. “I want people to see that I have grown up and moved on. I know for sure — and I need a new start,” said Zac.
He added, “I’m looking for something new and exciting to do. I want to do something dark, or a comedy. There’s tons of icons that I would love to work with on something new and exciting!”

He’s smart and talented. He looks really good here, I love dark suits on him. Zac spent the 1st half of this year filming 3 dif movies and in around a month he’ll be out promoting hsm3. I wonder what’s he’s gonna be doing these days then. He was at Vanessa’s(w/corbin) Iowa concert, he clearly came back for these awards so I wonder if he’ll go back to her for the rest of the stops? Probably be staying backstage though, too many people spotted him.

Ashley is older than Zac. I don’t understand her way, she has a boy friend but always running after Zac on and off screen and she call herself Vanessa’s friend. I think she should let go of Zac because he is undeniably in love with vanessa not her. Besides, she has her own boy friend who thinks she loves him. If you compare the chemistry, the difference is clear on the choice Zac has made. Peace out!

Great to see Kenny get a award and love the photo of him and Zac.
I’m glad that Zac has got to go and see Vanessa in concert and not be spotted to much I bet he enjoyed catching up with Corbin to, and as it’s been said I to bet that the pap’s did’nt think that he had gone to spend some time with Vanessa after the Audi thing so I say good for him having some time to relax and spend some time with his lady.
Not tokeen on what Ashley’s wearing personally but it look’s good on her. I loved how in the past Kenny has referred to the cast as his kids, I suppose it must feel like it in some ways as he’s seen them all grow through the movies.

Now,now. Let us not get catty here. Both Zac and Ashley look great here. Yes, he was with Vanessa at her Iowa concert, being the devoted bf, he is and he’s also friends with Ashley even before he knew Vanessa. No doubt, he loves Vanessa deeply and his heart belongs to her but there is no need to get the claws out for Vanessa’s Bff. She looks good and this yellow dress suits her and she doesn’t deserve the name calling that some of you choose. And I’m a Vanessa fan and respect all those close to her and her choices.
how can he expect to “move on” when he doesn’t have the acting chops. “Good looks” can only take you so far.
This is getting silly. Zac is with Vanessa-end of story and 2 of my closest friend were there-both being hispanic and said Ashley and Zac look like friends and that’s the only vibe you get because he treats her as a friend and a friend only.
They say you never get the impression they could ever be anything else because the vibe is not there and never has been.
But watching the Zashley fans live in delusion is fun and I thank you all for entertainment.
You folks don’t like Ashley or Zac - you just hate Vanessa (you remember her the olive skinned girl whose complexion offends you-would it be nice if sme of you would just admit you real problem is your prejudice-I would respect the truth)-if you were real fans of Zac & Ashley you would respect their choices.
