Zac and Ashley were on-hand to present the special achivement award to Kenny Ortega for Outstanding Director of a Made for TV Movie. (Kenny Ortega recently direct Zac and Ashley in High School Musical 3.
Zac, 20, is looking to move forward after carving his initial niche in the acting world. “I want people to see that I have grown up and moved on. I know for sure — and I need a new start,” said Zac.
He added, “I’m looking for something new and exciting to do. I want to do something dark, or a comedy. There’s tons of icons that I would love to work with on something new and exciting!”

first i would like to say that I love how ashley looks. she looks great and i love that ash an d zac were here as friends. thats terrific. however i dont understand how if they were presenting somethig we did not hear about it so we coudl tune in?
now ashley in no wayy looks cheap, she looks great and she is not chasing after zac, how do you even think that? just b/c she attended an award with him? yea that makes peeeeeeeeeeerfect sense…NOT!!!

The poor guy can’t even give an award without people trying to hook him up with another woman and the Zashley folks have been doing this for 3 years you would think they would get tired.
No man travels to Iowa of all places to spend time with a woman he’s not deeply in love with and maybe it’s me but he looks like he’s rather still be with Vanessa than at this award show.
I’m sure he loves Kenny and all but he looks like he’d rather be somewhere else to me.

Efron should know that with his lack of talent and being a closeted homosexual, his career choices are limited. As for the surgically enhanced Jewish princess, one can only laugh. She looks more lke Tori Spelling every day….not a good thing.
Zaccara, am right with you on this. He has that distant look about him. He does seem a bit preoccupied or is it my imagination. Anyway, I see a different glow when he is with his lady love. Awww! Being apart is never easy especially when you’re so devoted to each other.

jody, whom are you talking about here? zac efron obviously does not lack talents as he made millions of the past year alone. i dont really see you out there making millions of dollars, getting adored by fans and having support. seriously i think you need to grow up! with your homosexual remark, i feel is really shallow! if a guy getting freaky with a beautiful vanessa hudgens on the beach is the new meaning of homosexuality well then hes gay alright!

I’m confused “A new start with what?” Isn’t he making Footloose or something.
I think there should be no name calling here in regards to Ashley. Zac and Ashley have been friends before they even did any of the HSM movies. But as far as his look goes, I think it just goes to show that when he is with another female there is not a spark like there is when he is with Vanessa because he feels differently about Vanessa than any other woman. He even looks like he is having a better time when he is around Ashley when Vanessa happens to be there. Look at Ashley’s birthday pictures where Zac and Vanessa are together. Look at the pics from the HSM3 press conference where Zac is smiling with Ashley and has his arm around her AND Vanessa happens to be in his other arm. He just comes to life more when Vanessa is with him. I guess that is why he has said of Vanessa “she makes everything sparkle”—he certainly does.
ASSLEY is SOOOO UGLY! Look at her face! WOW, she’s hideous! Her fans are the only people who think she’s “pretty”. I’m not even a fan of Vanessa, but i’m damn sure that’s she’s actually pretty, unlike this fake.

Look at Zac’s face in the pictures with Ashley…HE’S NOT SMILING. Compare them to the pictures from the Teen Choice Awards, the ones where he was next to Vanessa, and these are NOTHING.
Ashley does look very cheap and dirty. And look at her ugly face. And that nose…..haha. Can she be any more fake?

You’re right that’s why he looks preoccupied or distant abd there is no sparkle at all besides he just left Vanessa so he probably misses her. AsI said before you’ve really got to love someone to go on a tour bus with them and go to Iowa .

Zac looks great. Zac and Vanessa will be together forever. Zac loves Vanessa. when they are apart Zac looks like is missing Vanessa really Bad. So if Zac is missing Vanessa then Zac And Vanessa Love each other with all there hearts. Zac and Vanessa will be together next month for High school musical 3 pomeo. I can’t wait to see Zanessa pictures. Zanessa Rocks.
