OlderAngie’s Dad - Jon Voight responds to Roseanne!
After Roseanne Barr blasted Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voight, the Midnight Cowboy actor responded to Barr via Extra. Here is Roseanne’s blog entry in case you missed it. Jon’s response is below:
“Answer to Roseanne Barr’s Rant:
We can never be surprised at what vile evil comes from the mouth of a confessed victim of child abuse at the hands of her own parents.
Her parents responded to the accusation by going on the air and slating she is a psychopathic liar and her sister agreed.
Her defaming of our National Anthem in 1990 gave us insight into who she is and what she is capable of saying and doing.
My allegiance to Senator McCain becomes stronger with any assault that tries to deter my loyalty to him.
I can only pray that good people see her for what she is (sick of mind).

your idol jen is also in therapy for 20 years now and still counting. Jolie is more stable than your idol jen. Whereas angie is productive and a loving mother, jen’s mental disablity has gotten worst after being dumped, trashed, peed on and rejected over and over again.

All of them have attacked Angelina at one point or another. ********! Plus, BP didn’t defend Angelina against Dumpo truck or zeta’s husband (whatshisname), or Seacrust either. Pitt is a big *****, too and is probably still friendly with all of those guys. Just like Voight.

The only person this ass-hat defended was a presidential candidate - not his daughter who by the way was the one being attacked. I think it’s fair to say that AJ would have given him a free pass to say “leave my daughter out of it” or maybe “I’m proud of my daughter and what she’s doing”. But no he made this about the politician he choses to support. It seems to be all about himself in his mind. But what can you expect from a man that doesn’t even know how to pronounce his grand kids name? And not to mention the fact that he feels that someone that has been abused is the evil one. Just further proof that the nut doesn’t fall far from the tree! It’s a FAMILY TRADITION!

If you’d read his statement correctly , he isn’t saying Roseann WAS abused. He said that she CONFESSED that she was abused. That doesn’t mean that it was true. Her parents and her sister have denied the abuse took place and have called her a liar. He’s pointing out that if she lied about that , who can take her seriously.
Even if she had been abused and that’s a big IF, that doesn’t mean she would be incapable of being a lying, over-bearing, delusional, loud-mouth, publicity seeking, bitter woman. Nor does it make her in any way ’special’ and less deserving of criticism for her actions.
Given his past relationship with his daughter and their tentative relationship now, it is good that he only defended HIMSELF and didn’t bring her name into his statement. If Angelina felt it was necessary to say anything on her own behalf, she’s capable of doing so. More than likely she will ignore the ramblings of a clearly unstable person.
Just a short while ago Rosanne was bashing Obama. Here are some of the tidbits:

He has no ideas, no plan and nothing to add other than the cynical pacification of the masses with bedtime stories about hope, while calling Unions “special interest groups” that need to be done away with.
When Americans find out that Obama backs right wing corporate racist anti worker bullshit, they will not vote for him.
That is what Roseann said about Obama. So now she bashes Jolie for not DECLARING she will vote for Obama. This must be some other Obama, not the one Roseann has sliced and diced on her blog.
If anyone thinks Roseann is sane, you need to spend some time in the looney bin with her.

Sometimes the best defense is to not say anything. Do not stoop to their level. Angie and Brad are busy raising their family. Angie has no time to pay any attention to trash, she is busy nusring the twins, taking care of the other 4 and taking care of herself. Don’t think anytime is left for trash.
There is a nice article in “HELLO” mag dated 8-19-2008. It’s not the one with Angie on the cover. It is a nice and sweet article about Brad, Angie and their family. They are talking about Maddox and his birthday how Angie is busy taking care of the kids.
In the same magazine is an interview of Jen when she was in London. Kinda funny for it is talking about how happy she is with J. Mayer. She talks about how your life is wonderful when you are in love. Have you notice that whenever she is interviewed or when every thing is going along good or appear to be going along good when she is in a relationship all of a sudden it is over. This happened with Brad, they were on vacation in Mexico, all hugged up and kissing in December then in January she files for divorce. With V.V., she appears on Oprah talking about how they are still together. The next week, they break up. With John, all the mags come out about how happy and in love they are, they are talking about marriage and having a baby. Then “wham”, John ends the relationship. There is something not right with Ms. Jen. She said in the Hello interview that she is very private about her personal life and she just doen’t understand why people would say that she does things to get attention. Some of her statement tells that she does read the blogs for the comments are related to what is posted. When asked about a family, her answer is weird. I really don’t think she really wants a child. She appears to be satisfied with her dog(s). She is compared the attention from her dog to that of a man; saying that she wished that a man would greet you like your dog do! When I read it, I just could not believe it. She may be getting close to 40 but from reading that article, I don’t think she really knows what she wants in life and do not have any goals set. One statement she said that will just want to keep making movies. Does not sound like a mature lady to me. Of course she talked about her body and staying fit.

JJ should have a new thread with the cover of Hello Mag with Angie on the cover as the world’s most beautiful woman with an inset of Brad and Zee and down in the right corner an inset of ‘guess who’…………..but it’s great because Angie’s photo is looming over her with the ‘most’ beautiful woman’ byline. Hello got it right albeit I am a bit disappointed in them for once again shoving her puss into a photo with Brad and Angie. Seems cheezy, more like US Weakly rag style.
